My Diary

That's 99 pages
I've seen it somewhere though I am not great with names.. Does it start with a T? Something tells me so for some reason. Tim, Tom something??

Rene or Nae for short :) Nice to "meet" ya, Tom.

And likewise...

Sitting here browsing forums, listening to music (Handel's Messiah on a new DVD-A I got - great stuff) and trying not to think of food as I need to get bloodwork done that I've been putting off - because of the fasting.

I'm sorry u have to do that, Tom. Hope everything is ok and this is just a routine blood draw.

It is - I've just been putting it off because it's hard for me to fast - I get out of the gym at 7pm and the first thing I want to do when I get home i eat... Been about a year since my last tests so I'm more than due. Thanks for your concern :)

Well I got my blood drawn and as a bonus got to give 'em a sample for a urinalysis (joy, oh joy). Now it's just a question of waiting for the results...

Glad your workout was a good one. You know my quads are still hurting from my Tuesday spin class. Please tell me it will get a bit easier or my body will get more use to it!

OH THE BURN!!

Glad to see you got to give a little extra at the doc office. I am sure that made them happy! :D

Of course it will :) Actually the biggest problem I had was with the bicycle seat... A friend of a friend says that pain is weakness leaving the body - if that makes you feel any better. :)

Yah I had a problem with that as well but next time I am going to wear my bike shorts that has the additional cushioning --

Thx

Yeah I thought about getting those, but decided it wasn't worth the hassle so I just toughed it out to where the seat's not an issue anymore.

Workout 6/1

Warmup:
Elliptical 3 minutes
Walking Lunges
Lateral Lunges w/opposite hand reach and touchx10
Inchwormx3
T-Pushup (from bench)x6
Ball Bridge
Russian Twistx3 each

Squats 1x15@50, 1x15@60

Static Lunge 2x15 supersetted with
2 Point Dumbbell Row w/Elbow Out 2x15@15

Pushups 2x15 supersetted with
Swiss Ball Crunch with Medicine Ball 2x20@12

Some surprises today - even though my legs were a little sore (guessing from the previous two days workouts), I did noticeably better with the warmup this time. The walking lunges were probably the most improved (though I still stumble some, and have yet to do them without going from start position each time, let alone adding the twist) so I was happy with that. The Russian twist also was a bit easier as well. As for the workout itself, the elation from the progress on the warmup and the lunges was tempered by the static lunges which KILLED my legs lol. I was able to get through both sets, but it sure wasn't pretty. All in all though I must say I'm liking the way my body performs and feels with this workout - can't wait to see what happens next week.

Wow! Great job, Tom!!! U never fail to impress me! :p Keep up the great work!
