My Diary

You look so different. You're gray is gone. You're face is slimmer (duh Sheri!) Have you thought about contacts? If you just lived little closer I'd go out and have a good time w/you, just as friends.

Congrats and keep up the good work!!

*Edit* - I would've gone out with you when were at you're biggest, so don't think that weight was an issue.

Damn stingo major congrats man! Besides all that weight you lost, you even lost that third hand growing out of your right shoulder:D!

WOW...what a difference in your face! Did you take before and after body pics as well?

Not exactly - the "before" is actually an inset from a larger photo (hence the mystery hand) but it doesn't show much as I have a sweatshirt on. I do have some "during" photos, but the difference won't be quite as obvious. (Though I suppose I could wear the same sweatshirt now and take a picture in it - not quite the same I know, but might give an idea of the contrast.)

Leg Curl 1x5 each leg

I'm not sure what happened but for whatever reason my arms gave out on the 3rd set of bench presses. That's not ever happened before - but my trainer asked me if I wanted to do another set toward the end of my workout, which of course I did, and was just able to do it. Today was the last time for that workout, as I'll be starting the NROL break-in program on Wednesday.

Wow Tom.....the difference!!!! You can see it in your face the most, but I could also tell in your abs that you can see some beginning definition!!! GO YOU!!!!!

AWESOME WORK, TOM!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Since I wanted to use up some spinach I had lying around, I decided to make Sag Aloo tonight. I think I may have let the potatoes cook a little long, but it was very tasty. Decided to go all vegetarian and get my protein source from cottage cheese. Delicious.

Thanks for all the encouragement - it's coming at a time I could use some. Incidentally the face pics were taken about 2.5 years apart (Dec '04 to May '07) and the body pics were taken about 10 months apart (Jul '06 to May '07).

Though I think she wants an easy replacement for when her calendar has other things to do lol - my spinning instructor suggested my becoming an instructor myself.

Congrats!!!!

Keep at it! You seem to know what you are doing and what it takes to get where you want to be.

You have made tremendous progress!

Thanks for the support :) It'd take an awful lot of work to get to the level (physically) my spinning instructor's at - but I appreciate the thought.

It's funny - however much you think you know, there's always something to come along to teach you otherwise. In this case I refer to baking a potato. Simple enough eh? I'd always done it (since that's the way I was taught) by piercing it, coating it with butter or oil, and the wrapping it in foil. Looking online tonight (no, not at recipezaar lol) I saw a recipe that skips the foil and just places the potato on the oven rack to cook. The result was a much lighter texture that was very enjoyable, so I'll be making my potatoes this way from now on.

We cook ours in the microwave...:D

I think for me the microwave will always be quick heating, rather than cooking gear.
