Thanks for the encouragement Wendy, but my diet's been kicking my butt on the weekends... yummy food, but life's getting tight at the 5th notch... So post Oktoberfest this weekend I'll be stricter in addition to cooking more on the weekends again.
It's funny but for actually putting on a few pounds, people have been complimenting me on my weight loss... I dunno - almost seems like good karma is getting repaid.

Ironically enough, even though I've actually gained a little in the past few weeks, I've gotten any number of compliments about my looking great etc... I think the woman who teaches pilates/yoga/tai chi may have figured out why... She thinks people see me and see the beard is gone (surprise) then look at the body and that's different too (another surprise) so it makes them think I look better, enough to say something. Not complaining mind you - just funny how others see us as opposed to the way we see ourselves.
Maybe you have changed your own outlook as well! You are doing great, I admire your perserverance. Looks like yo have been getting tired of working so hard, but you need to remind yourself that you have made it this far and you can keep going! Looking great!
Thanks Missy - yes tired of working hard mixed with a healthy dose of "are we there yet?". Figuring after all this work I'd be at my goal by now but such is life. It took a while to put on so it's going to take a while to take it back off.
