My 1000th post.

i just cant wait until i am in the 1000 club!!!
bench, squat and deadlift add up to over 1000 in lbs! i guess thats a long term goal
 
Congrats! I'm only at 800 :(

PB, I forget what that's called at my school. For powerlifters it's a club called the Iron Hawk or something. Then over 1500 you get a large pizza and it's a different name and I think you get something else.

I can't wait for 1,000 total :D Only 285 lbs. away so far haha
 
i think silent should be in it too.
im in. but is it just a bet like lets see who can get there first. or like i bet you 5 bux.
 
The bet is whatever you want. We both are 16, apx same weight. Your squat is alot better than mine, if I can remember, but I think my deadlift is better? What are your PRs and total?

Haha your both strong as hell!

As I told you in the PM's PB. I have been off the weights a good 3-4 months because of injury's. I'm just now starting to ease back into it all. So my lifts I'm sure aren't at what they used to be.

I'd love to join this little contest but Give me awhile to get back into it before I start posting up stats:D.

I've been lifting regularly and actually knowing what I'm doing since the end of January. I did a little lifting back November, but stopped when wrestling started.

1500lbs? holy christ. can people at your school do that?

I'd join in, but I'm not sure on my dead or squat. I know squat is at least over 220lbs cause I did 100kg for 10 reps pretty easily. So it could be up to 250 or higher. :D
Bench is at least 187 (85kg)
Then dead lift I have no idea. But I attempted a 200kg (440lbs) and failed in spectacular fashion. So I think the smallest amount would be around 220lbs. Because I can't see me not being able to do half the weight.

So when I get my stats I'm in. But atm I'm doing more of the cardio for athletics.

I never knew such a thing existed. My max bench is 235 but i've never tried a deadlift in my life so i'd have no clue on that and i've never done a free weight squat, only on the smith machine. Sounds like a good goal though. :cool:
 
I might as well join. I'm 16 and around 170 pounds so this is going to be a good competition.

Bench- 160
Squat- 135x23 (Getting a better idea of max today)
Deadlift- 230

As you can see I have to do some cathing up. But I think my maxes might be a little higher then what I posted.

ok. so far, thats me, silent, merciless, woodt, and jmanj so far.

me and silent are getting back into lifting again.

merci, jman, and wood are at full potential.

mayb we can get creative and make teams consisting of 2 beasts per team to see who can get to a smaller goal like 1600lbs first, both beast's lifts put together. then see who can get to 1700 first. then 1800. then 1900. then 2000. small steps towards a big goal. i think teamwork will make this more interesting.

Yeah, it should. I'm not at full potential because I rarely do lifts atm. Just doing track and working on fitness. But I'm back in the gym as of next saturday.
 
teams it is. but theres 1 problem. there are 5 people. we need to recruit another person who is close to our strength so that we can make 3 teams. only then will we begin the race to 1500.

Yea, but shouldn't they be close to our stats? or no...because I think we are all generally around 165-175, and I think between 15 and 17. Maybe I'mwrong? idk lol feedback plz

i think the main thing should be that they are our strength. i am 165 now :(
it would be nice to have the next person to be in our weight class too but its not that important i think as long as they are close. :D
 
I'm 155 atm. lost a bit of weight doing track training.
