"Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation."
~Brian Tracy.

I'm grateful that I'm feeling much better this morning! :D

A Creed to Live By.

"Don't undermine your worth by comparing
yourself with others,

It is because we are different that each
of us is special.

Don't set your goals by what other people
deem important,

Only you know what is best for you.

Don't take for granted the things closest
to your heart

Cling to that as you would your life, for without
them life is meaningless.

Don't let your life slip through your fingers by living
in the past or the future.

By living your life one day at a time, you live all the
days of your life.

Don't give up when you still have something to give

Nothing is really over … until the moment
you stop trying.

Don't be afraid to admit that you are less
than perfect,

It is the fragile thread that binds us to each other.

Don't be afraid to encounter risks,

It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.

Don't shut love out of your life by saying it's
impossible to find.

The quickest way to receive love is to give love.

The fastest way to lose love is to hold on too tightly,

And the best way to keep love is to give it wings.

Don't dismiss your Dreams. To be without
dreams is to be without hope.

To be without hope is to be without purpose.

Don't run through life so fast that you forget
where you've been,

But also know where you're going.

Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored
every step of the way."

State of mind :chillpill:

Feeling happy and stress-free plays a big role in our ability to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight. There are several things you can do to boost your self-esteem and take some stress out of your life:

Start exercising. Exercise helps to release endorphins and makes you feel happy and relaxed. This doesn't mean you need to spend two hours a day at the gym. Take a brisk walk around the block or do a little yoga in your living room.

Call a friend and get some of your feelings off your chest. Keeping stress and negative feelings to yourself will only make you feel worse and could be detrimental to your health.

Don't overindulge in comfort foods when you're feeling down or feel the need to reward yourself; however, don't completely deprive yourself either. Instead of sitting down with the tub of ice cream, you could opt for some delicious and healthier frozen yoghurt or fresh fruit. You'll feel satisfied without the guilt factor.

Find ways to relax. Curl up with a book or take a warm bubble bath. Even book a massage. Do whatever it takes to put you at ease, even if it is just momentary.

Eat foods that will provide you with energy, including fibre-rich vegetables and whole grains and lean meats.

Habit

I am your constant companion,
I am your greatest helper or heaviest burden.
I will push you onward or drag you down to failure.
I am completely at your command.
Half the things you do might just as well turn over to me
and I will be able to do them quickly and correctly.

I am easily managed -
you must merely be firm with me.
Show me exactly how you want something done
and after a few lessons, I will do it automatically.
I am the servant of all great people;
and alas, of all failures as well.
Those who are great,
I have made great.
Those who are failures,
I have made failures.

I am not a machine,
though I work with all the precision of a machine
plus the intelligence of a human.
You may run me for a profit or run me for ruin -
it makes no difference to me.

Take me,
train me,
be firm with me,
And I will place the world at your feet.
Be easy with me,
and I will destroy you.

WHO AM I?

I AM HABIT.

How to Visualise What you want:

Go somewhere quiet and private where you won't be disturbed. Close your eyes and think of the goal, mood, new behaviour or skill, you want to acquire.

Take several deep breaths and relax.

Visualise the object or situation you desire in your mind as clearly and with as much detail as you can.

Add emotion, feeling, and your senses to your vision.

Practice it at least twice a day for about 10 minutes each time.

Persevere until you succeed.

Maintain positive thoughts and a good attitude throughout.

"You are not here to fix anything, because nothing is broken, but everything is continually changing and expanding. Release your struggle, and seek joy and fun, and in doing so, you will align with the fantastic expanding rhythm of this Universe."

~Abraham-Hicks

When you stop trying to change others and work on changing yourself, your world changes for the better.

"I can do no great things, only small things with great love." :grouphug:

"If you think you're too small to have an impact, try going to bed with a mosquito."
~ Anita Roddick"

HAVE FUN!!

"Fun is good."

~ Dr Seuss.

Not only does it help keep the mind healthy, but it also helps to keep a person sane.

"Being authentic is the ability to be true to oneself. Living an authentic life requires the ability to be true to our own wants, needs and desires and not live our lives by the opinion of others. Being authentic is the ability to make self-honouring choices and stand firmly in who we are in our core. Being true to ourselves gives us the insight and compassion to see others for who they are, not who we expect them to be. It frees us up from the judgement of ourselves and others and it gives others the freedom to be themselves as well."

~ Victoria J. Reynolds

“Now is the operative word. Everything you put in your way is just a method of putting off the hour when you could actually be doing your dream. You don’t need endless time and perfect conditions. Do it now. Do it today. Do it for twenty minutes and watch your heart start beating.â€

~Barbara Sher

Only use positive words when talking.

If you're constantly telling yourself "I can't" you may convince yourself that's the truth.

Replace these negative words with positive ones instead.

Tell yourself you will do your best or that you will try your hardest instead.

Push out all feelings that aren't positive. Don't let negative thoughts and feelings overwhelm you when you're feeling down. Even if it's only for a few hours a day, push your negativity aside and only focus on the good things in your life.
