Okay, well, I was wanting to reward myself with victoria's secret, but at the end of the month with my goal, I will still be 3 pounds from that, so I think that a good pedicure would work. Now, I'm thinking of doing monthly goals as long as I lose weight and then weightloss goals. How does that sound?

Sounds good!! Are you close to Victoria Secret or do you have to shop online?
 
My reward is the feeling I'll get from losing the weight.

If I get a job and start making money, im sure that'll change. haha!

I am wanting a pedicure and hoping to fit it into the budget if not my reward will have to be the same as you!! Still a good one, I am just really in need of a pedi lol!!
 
Woohoo! Finally getting somewhere. Broke my plateau. The 2 lb drop just happened in the last 2 days! Started taekwondo lessons on Wednesday. Great workout - it's really kicking my butt (figuratively and literally lol) and those 2 lbs melted off. Hope I can keep it up. Don't think I'll make my goal, but I'll be close! Congrats to everyone so far. Some of you are really peeling off those lbs!

Starting weight as of Apr. 30 is 175lbs. .

May 07 2010 Goal: 174 lbs. Actual 175.8 lbs.

May 14 2010 Goal: 172 lbs Actual 175 lbs.

May 21 2010 Goal: 170 lbs Actual 173 lbs.

May 28 2010 Goal: 169 lbs

Hi, I'm in too! Been stuck between 5 lbs for the last 2 months and am really wanting to step it up this month. My goal is to lose 20 lbs by August 30 ( I have my wedding coming up), but this will be a stepping stone toward that goal.Thanks for starting this and I hope it will be the motivation I need to keep going:)

Can I still join? I updated my current weight, 1.4 pounds more then I guessed.... UGH. Oh, well I would like to be either out of or nearly out of the 160's by the final weigh in :)

So since today is the last day of May I decided to weigh in-- Weight as of May 31, 2010 __162__ Total weight loss (-9.4 pounds) :)



So this week has been hard, I added carbs back into my diet and everyone in the forum said I will retain water from adding them back. So I had gained1.5-2.5 pounds of water and so now I only show a loss of .2 pounds, so in reality I lost 1.5-2.5 pounds of fat but gained about that much in water so it is a wash. Fine with me though, I tried hard and you better believe is there is a month of June challenge I am all in! Great job to everyone who participated!

People have been talking about rewards and I've decided that each month I will either treat myself to a piercing or piece of merchandise of my choosing. Though this month I'm going to treat myself to goodies from Lush. :) the only problem with my reward systems is that I seem to get the reward even if I don't put in the work??

Only a lb this week but I haven't been able to go running for the last 4 days due to work and its been my birthday - so a bit more food than I probably should have eaten. I'm happy to be 196 though! If I keep up at this rate, I'll be 193 by the end of the month - I'd take that and run with it so to speak hehehe

I can't wait to post my results on Friday :) I have met and exceeded this weeks goal and I can't wait to see how much more I can lose before the 14th! Hope everyones weight loss is going well! Can't wait to see the results, I know we are all going to do great!
 
Me too Shawnam - I'm really excited about Friday weigh in! Its such a nice feeling when the weight is finally starting to come off at a steady weight (always takes a good month for me for this to kick in) - I find it SUCH a motivational boost. Roll on the end of the week!!
 
Wow Shawnnam, 11.5 pounds in just over 3 weeks?!?

That is quite a high goal, but good luck!

I started south beach diet and I have already lost about 5 in just 5 days... it is mostly water, the fact I don't cheat... at all, I eat very low sodium and it is low carb for the first 2-4 weeks so my body is going to adjust, there is a big chance I could lose more then my set goal. Once I reintroduce carbs back into my diet my weight loss will probably slow to 1 to 2 pounds a week.
 
I'm not looking forward to my results, but I'm looking forward to everyone else's!!!!
I think I'm gonna be 1 pound more then my goal :'(
 
awww heather :( nevermind hon it might not be that bad...and next week could be better!
