Looking to lose an extra human I apparently picked up along the way

Mcvee, Can't see your pic!

Don't worry about it, it was a joke. It was a picture of MC Hammer in his oversized pants. Any pants I own from back then are a little large on me 45 pounds later. My Golf slacks are really baggy now around the thighs.

Fairly good and well drunk here now late in the evening/early in the morn. Had an encouraging night in that the bartenders made fun of me for being old instead of for being fat. Baby steps.

326 alcohol aided (dehydration) weigh in this morning. Looking to check to see how many calories are in Advil.

Despite last night's activities, I felt it was important to do a little something today with this nice Saturday. So I decided just to do a nice light pleasure walk. The problem is the walking path near my house is like a grim hell hole with virtually no scenery. It's really terrible. I took some pics just so you could see how terrible it is:

The walking path is over there on the right next to that first tree.

More grim scenery from a little further up the path:

One last pic of the urban hellscape I had to walk through:

All totaled I walked about 5 miles today, a little more than I wanted (my feets is sore) but I made it through well enough.

Can't begin to tell you how jealous I am- I step outside my front door to a huge pile of red dirt in every direction and an iron ore train in the distance. Even get tumbleweeds stuck in our garden every other week! The mountains in the background look incredible!

To be fair, I've lived in parts of this town that are much the same. The above pics are a few miles from me, but it's so nice I drive the car and park. I have a path near my place that is also nice, but not quite that nice.

I can't wait until I lose enough weight to be comfortable going hiking in some of the mountains around here (it's apparently challenging). I don't think that will be April, so the target for that would be around this time next year since from May through September would simply be too hot.

One more pic from the end of the walk:

326 again this morning which is nice since I didn't trust yesterday's weight. My start weight is in my signature, and it looks like I'm just a few days from hitting a benchmark.

I was very good with my exercise this week so I don't think I'll do anything significant today and give my muscles some relaxation. Maybe I'll get to work on my bicycle and try and get it into road worthy condition. Then I'll have to get myself into bicycle condition. The one downside to bike riding is that if you haven't done it in a while, it takes a while before you stop getting very sore in a place you don't want to be very sore. Maybe if you go out and buy an extra-wide seat it will minimize that.

I am also jealous of your scenery cause when I step outside right now I see snow!!! Not a lot yet, but still, SNOW!! Even though you're still at 326, that means that you're actually AT that weight, rather than it just being that weight due to dehydration!! Good job!

Would it be rude of me to point and laugh? :D

I grew up in Chicago and I'm of the opinion that I never have to see another snowflake again. I will if I have to, but I'm not going out of my way for it.

Nice scenery, definitely not what comes to mind when I hear Arizona. I spent a week in Scottsdale many years back around the end of July and enjoyed the desert heat and lack of humidity but the main source of greenery I saw were the cactii.

328.5 this morning as apparently the free Diet Coke refills at the bar last night (watching baseball) have me overhydrated. Ironic since yesterday may have been my most 'food healthy' day since I started this. I suppose the long view on my weight is the important one. I wanted to lose 10 pounds a month and to reach that goal I'd have to weigh 335 on November 1. I seem to have that one easily in hand, and so I shouldn't let the day to day fluctuations get to me too much.

Yeah a 6 year old or an adult runway model. Either/or.

Having a little trouble getting myself mentally adjusted to what looks like a rather substantial amount of leeway in my daily weigh-ins. Apparently on top of all the other gifts that come with being this size, abnormally large daily weight fluctuations come with it too.

Oh well, lunch time!

329 as I seem to be repeating last week where my weight goes down a bunch and then shoots up.

Found this out by the trash dumpster in my complex today:

Apparently there's not going to be a repeat winner this year.

Racquetball workout completed. Hopefully the scale shall be kinder tomorrow.

:iagree: Thanks for the laugh

Hey MrVee. I am in the same boat, stuck at the same weight I have been for the past 4 days. It really sucks, specially when one tries to hard!! I am sure we will be back with it by the end of this week!

Had conversation with my personal trainer about it today. Told him I didn't want to eat wheat germ and grass, but I would if that's what it took.

He shook his head and said just keep going and we'll re-check next week.

Ha, love the dumpster find! Maybe he got upped to the Galaxy's Greatest? More likely he was trumped...

Be curious to hear what your trainer says. Sounds like you're doing everything right, so it's probably just a plateau. Are you having cheat meals? Those are good for a few reasons, mental health only being one of them.
