Looking to lose an extra human I apparently picked up along the way

For the final challenge weigh-in this month I came in at 309.5. I would raise my arms in triumph, but my personal training from yesterday would make that a little painful. Oh hell, I'll do it anyway.

Well it only kinda hurt on the way up. Once they were up it was good. Anyhow today I've reached the best kind of benchmark: a metric system benchmark! I have lost 30 kilos now.

No personal training today. For once it's the arms that ache, so no basketball today, but it leaves open all the other stuff. Maybe I'll take my first mountain hike. If so I'll bring a camera in case I see a good picture.
 
So I did in fact go hiking and I picked a short trail that wasn't too steep (but turned out to be steeper than I was expecting). It was after all supposed to be a rest and recovery day. Here's a pic from almost as high as I went.





The road in the middle right of the pic is the road the trailhead is on. So figure from there up to where I'm at in the photo (and a little further up) and then back down. I have never actually been mountain hiking before so I was not really trying anything too adventurous. If I do decide to do this more often, different shoes will be necessary. About an hour and 15 minutes out of my day including a short drive to get there and back.
 
Great job on 30 kilos gone!! Keep up the great work! I think my legs are gonna be sore tomorrow, so I know the feeling!
 
Aren't T-Rex arms a killer?? Congrats on the 30kgs lost, that truly is amazing!


You're making me jealous with your stunning scenery again too! I'll have to take photos when I go home and show you where I USED to live, it's a beautiful part of Aus!

LOL! I was thinking that exact same thing earlier today. I golf a little and you kinda have to keep your left arm straight in your swing until you finish. Can't golf right now. I spent most of the day with my left arm bent and tucked in to my chest and I thought, "I'm like a T-Rex." Right seems to be okay.


I've been trying to massage it all day. Hopefully it will clear up by next PT on Monday.


I've been led to believe all of Australia is beautiful. Apparently that's except for where you're living. :)
 
Nothing sneaks up on you quicker than Christmas in Arizona (not that I'm complaining). I started December with a 311.5 weigh in. They scale taketh away and the scale giveth back. Still very happy with 311.5 right now anyway.


Left arm still a little not very good. Could probably play basketball as I really only need to extend my right all the way for that. Probably won't though.
 
Alright hopefully this doesn't back fire on me, but it's December 1 and I'm supposed to take a picture today so I guess I'll post it here. Here is me:

Yay, a picture!! Honestly I know it's hard posting pics on a public forum so well done. You're looking great and it looks like your arms must be feeling less dinosaur-like (being able to hold the camera up and everything!)


It's good putting a face to a name! :biggrin:
 
310.5 this morning. Off to the bar to watch football (or 'hand egg' as it is more commonly known). Had an apple to get me started, but I think I'm brunching it at the sports bar which will leave me around 1000 calories to play with there. Still won't be going crazy but at least I can have a burger and a beer or two without too much guilt. No fries though.


Exercise for the day is whatever I get doing what I do during the day. A day of rest. Left arm feeling mucho better. Right arm 100%


Looks like it's time for another home made belt hole.
 
Well, I figured I should probably show the comparison pic. It's actually a full pic, but I'm not quite ready to show the world my starting point with my shirt off, but here are the two cropped shots of my face: the first is from July 1, 2012 when I weighed 375, the second from December 1, 2012 at around 311.





To be honest, I'm not sure I can tell a big difference. I suppose a little, plus I'm smiling and my hair is better. :)
 
313 on Monday morning. Today was my challenge weigh in.


Personal training in about an hour, so that should take care of some of that water weight.
 
311 this morning which is probably pretty close to what my "true" weight is right now, if you can know such a thing.


More of the personal training today before I get tomorrow off. Surprisingly not too sore from yesterday's.


Anyway I'm really hungry right now, so it's time to eat.
 
Well, after being locked out for a bit because of the change over, I'm back. 310.5 this morning.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to haz cheezeburger.
 
I think it had to do with how long you were here. I've only been around since October. I sent an e-mail to the admin and they eventually fixed it for me.

cheezburger was good.
 
310, woop woop!! So close to 200s it's crazy!!!

Haha cheeseburger... mmm, might have to make burgers this week I think. Nom.
