The journal is for you so you can reflect on your progress. It's fun sometimes to get comments from others. However, most of your workouts revolve around videos like 'Hip Hop Abs' and so most of us don't have any familiarity or don't care to do those types of workouts, so we don't say much.

See, I was simply making a comment. I was trying to reflect on maybe why you didn't get a lot of comments in your journal. And you get snippy. Thanks. I won't be visiting again.
 
Yeah, I'm back. May as well. I've been outsted from the Oxygen forum for no good reason, the Self forum is glitchey, and since I'm not a bodybuilder or mainly lift weights, it's hard to find a fitness forum that I fit into.

I eat right, do cardio, and take gym classes, so I think I'll hang out here again.

I wasn't banned. I was tortured until I left. Truth be told, I don't lift weights so it really wasn't the place for me.

I only joined because I like Oxygen magazine, but I don't think the majority of the posters there like it.

Yes, in January I was on a walk during my lunch break, and I saw this bright red sign and was intrigued. Lucille Roberts, a chain of gyms that's ladies only, is a few minutes walk from my office and specializes in classes. I decided it'd be fun to take a few, so I joined.

A bonus is that if I go twice a week, my health insurance pays for my membership in full! I spend more on sneakers then I do on my membership !!!

That's great - good as DVDs are, there's no real replacement for a good live instructor.

Hey I say anything that gets you moving is better than most of th american population.

Last night I took a total body type class with Shelley, and she worked us hard. My shoulders ached right away!

This AM I did cardio - a Turbo Jam dvd called Punch Kick and Jam - and then during lunch I took Raldane's class - cardio and toning.

I'm good with my eating, too - breakfast of coffee, banana, Larabar; lunch of cup of (homemade) lentil soup, and a low fat yogurt with granola. Not sure what dinner's going to be, though ...
 
If your big into videos and such, you might want to consider p90x. I've heard nothing but good things about it (aside from price)... Just something to consider I suppose, regardless whatever road you take best wishes!
