Lift, Train, Fitness

got a different medication from Doc, had blood and nasal swab taken to try and work out what caused the pneumonia, exam starts in 30 minutes

Fingers crossed.

I am showing some signs of improvement but I think recovery is going to take a while, I can now sleep through the night but walking from one end of the house to the other is leaving me short of breath.

feeling well enough to read some diaries but not to do much posting.

I am definitely healing well now, still need to cough up the rest of the crap in my lungs but doc is happy.

Have not posted in the last few days as it has been the anniversary of mums death this week and I just needed time away from everything.

I was hoping to get back to coaching tomorrow, but I think it will be another week of recovery as I am still coughing up gunk out of my lungs.

It's good that you are able to get rid of the gunk, Tru. It took me a fair while to get over pneumonia & you may not feel strong for a while. You, of course, started out much fitter, but still, your lungs have taken a beating.

No training in the gym today but did start work digging a new garden bed along the path to the clothes line, I need to dig away part of the hill to flatten the area, excess dirt needs to be wheel barrowed to where hubby is building a retaining wall to flatten an area for play equipment for little miss. The plan is to plant a hedge of rosemary along the path. It was only 30 minutes of work but it is a start towards regaining my strength after the pneumonia.

Bit more digging today, A bit at a time I will rebuild my strength and health as well as getting this garden bed built.

I wish I had half your commitment and tenacity!
