Lei's Big Huge Log

They are tie downs with bowflex handles attached to them. I usually hang them from my stairs, or I'll go to the local playground and loop them around b-ball hoops or swing sets.

Right now I am capable of:

Dips
Chins
L-sits
Dragon flags
Really ugly sloppy crucifixes

I want to be able to do:

Handstands
Clean crucifixes
and eventually, upside down crucifixes.

Despite my triumphant "back to training" statement, I've still got mucus in my lungs and some heavy sinus pressure.

Regardless, I tried my hand at some squats today.

1x5@ 135 warm-up
2x1@ 195 singles
1x1@ 215
3x3@ 165

Eh.
 
Lol, yes they are a lot of fun, especially when you're not used to anything like them while your stabalizers go haywire.

No medication, I am on the downward curve of this illness, whatever it was, and I'm almost through. I just eat, eat, and eat. I also try to sleep a lot.

My head was pounding after the end of this "workout". My head felt like it did a few days after getting a concussion. After some thought, I'll probably go back to eating clean. I just don't think I can take all the stuff I've been putting in for the sake of calories.

Incline bench:
1x5 @ 115
1x4 @ 145
3x5 @ 135

Chins:
4x5 @ BW+10 lbs

Did some single arm db swings for warm up, and was going to do those as a secondary exercise after incline pressing, but I just didn't have the focus and/or energy.
 
In TCM terms it sounds like you've got a cold stomache fluid buildup.. I get that myself when I eat too many grains and try to do dodgy fats .. or even sugar does it to me aswell... hate the stuff. .. you know exactly what your body needs to function properly and if you don't do that.. know that that's what happens. ..every time! ...
anyway, try to flood your body with a high gluc milk and alternate it with orange juice and some garlic and chilli and clear hot fluids to try to break down strip and flush whatever it is out of your body..

the headaches are prObably dehydration LeiYunFat.. be careful of that.

get well and stop cutting class .

Probably had the best workout in the last week or so today.

Snatch grip deads (index finger on outside of rings)

5x1 @ 165
3x2 @ 215
5x3(? lost count) @ 185

Followed by this circut:

6x3 ab rollouts
8x3 cable pull-thoughs @150
10x3 high->low cable woodchoppers @ 100ish

My workout was split into two parts today, because the baseball team came in and totally hogged everything.

Pt I-

Push press/OH press-
6x1 @ 95 warm up
2x1 @ 125
1x2 @ 150 new pr

Chin-ups-
5x1 @ BW warm up
2x1 @ BW+25
2x1 @ bw+35
1x2 @ bw+40 New best

Followed by 5x4(? lost track of sets) DB shoulder press with 45 lb/hand
And 5x3 BO Rows at 150 (this is when the team came in)

Tried to sub rows with high cable pulls to neck. 8x1 @ 150

Too easy, so I went to the seated rows and hit 8x1 @ 150.

Pt II (4-5 hours later)

I wasn't used to doing this, so I was kind of lost.

3x3 Incline bench building to 155.

6x1 behind-the-back shoulder cable abduction @ 50 (decided I had worked my shoulders enough)

8x2 seated cable rows @ 135

Rotator cuff cable work

Skull crushers on straight bar-

8x3 @ 50 lbs

Straight bar curls-

8x3 @ 70 lbs

Pt II was a total wtf workout.

Bulgarian split dumbell squat (all at 35 lbs/hand)-

Straight legged deads off box-
5x2 @ 165

Election day today! I plan on eating my fill of donkeys and elephants...mmm

Oh ****. I just realized I only ate two moderate meals today. There is no way everything I ate totals even 2000 cals.

Yesterday was a similar story...

Ii do your day -2 load in an hour or half as a temp gig at work atm..
just be careful Lei you don't loose rom and your speed.. particularly on the differening dietary intakes you need to manage the two.. you're an maer and have goals along those those lines you're working your hiney off to acheive do or die or a you're a big old less effective muscluar pretty boy.. givus sum o that ego benching maybe..

For chIiissakes take something you can pack on!!... try freeze some fruit and mix in some equal and protein powder.. and if it thaws.. then you can still drink it anyway.
take serves x 4. add a small 4- 15 gm carb in your box.. throw in some good mueslie or carb bars and savory 1-5 gm /piece .. pack a plastic salad and fruit box and take the fu...n thing with you.
Does it matter or doesn't it??
