So, as I was going through my Pinterest, I come across a before and after picture of a Korean girl who looks alot like me and I haven't made any before pictures of myself.

But, I can relate to what I could strive for. I know I may not get as ripped as her, but I also know that I get a little too comfortable being a little pudgy and drop off the bandwagon for a little while.
I binged on chips tonight. I don't feel good about it. But, I decided on how to do my workouts and to log it. Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday's, do lower body workouts and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays do upper body workouts. On the upper body days, I will pull out my stepper for at least 20 min. I did that today during a show I'm watching now.
I wish I had a personal trainer sometimes...so somebody to go tell me to do it! Lol

I like it, posting pictures of someone else! Maybe I'll go the George Clooney route. Are you Korean? Hard to tell from your picture.

I have found food logging to be a great help, I think you will probably find logging helpful as well, makes those binges a little easier to resist, knowing that you will have to write it down.

Rob, I am half Korean.

I like to use sparkpeople, sometimes. Do you meal plan and prep? I know if I made a menu to choose from, it would be easier to log. I'll try it out.

Kimmy, no I don't meal plan, not in any organized way anyway. As for prep my wife does most of our cooking, but I do some, I like to cook occasionally.

Have you been to Korea? I spent one day there, a layover on my way to a conference in Singapore. I had a good friend in college who was Korean, he ended up going back to Korea and became a college prof there. I looked him up, but he was out of town so he had one of his grad students meet me at the airport and I got the student's tour of Seoul, it was interesting. Not nearly as good as seeing my old friend would have been though. My friend's wife used to make killer kimchi, some really salty and really hot stuff. I like kimchi, but some of hers I just couldn't eat, too spicy.

I have been to Korea a few times with my family to visit my mom's side of the family. They lived in the countryside. Beautiful place. But, actually, I lived in Japan for 19 yrs as a kid growing up. My dad was in the Air Force. I was in Mainland Japan for 10 yrs, then Okinawa for 9 yrs till I graduated high school. I know, interesting, huh? And no, I don't know much Japanese or Korean, but Korean was my first language and I wished I could still speak it. I love watching Korean dramas, though. I can pick up a few words here and there, but mostly have to read subtitles. There was this one that was really good called "Oh My Venus" about a girl losing weight and finding love at the same time. They love to add a bunch of other stuff to it, too, but that's about what it's about.

I like the idea of finding pictures to serve as your non-existent "before" picture. I might do that at some point when I need to remind myself how far I´ve come! The "after" picture, of course, has very little to do with reality. I can´t say for certain that it´s been shopped but given how much work they´ve put in on posing, high-lighting body make-up, and just lighting to make her appear perfect I would assume the computer helped a little, too.

It is quite possible to be photo shopped! But, it does look like she got it professionally done. You just don't get that perfect of lighting and pose and not be professionally done.

Kimmy, it sounds like you have lead an interesting life. On languages I remember what my Korean friend told me once when we were talking about speaking more than one language. He said that to him English, French, German, they were all too much a like to be called different languages, you need to try Korean, Japanese, or some other oriental langues to see what a different language really is. I think there is some truth to that.

Ok, I'll go with it, my before and after pictures are attached.before.jpgafter.jpg

Oh definitely. And many professional photographers these days consider digital alterations part of the process. Although given how ubiquitous alterations were even in the early days of photography I'm not sure I ought to add "these days".

Rob, I love it! I can definitely see it! LOL
Hey Kimmy, hows it going?
