Karks shouldn't be a mod

Leave Karky alone people, were homo-partners so just leave us to it please.

Whether Tony said that, and whether it was serious or in jest...doesn't matter.

Every current mod has voting rights on new mods, and we all pretty much have our own criteria. Post count, rep count, attitude, availability to perform mod duties, general knowledge...all of these matter, plus other minutia.

Sometimes we do take a 'chance' on a new mod because one of the above is really needed, like specific expertise, or because they live on the other side of the globe which helps us try to maintain 24 hour coverage.


I will say this: the best way to NOT become a Mod is to ask if you can be one. The Admins will decide when a mod is needed, and the pool of candidates we solicit from, tho Mods can also suggest members too.

*edit* didn't read anything but page 1 of the thread...I now realize this thread is in jest. but, my post still stands as valid about the 'mod selection process'. :p

Hey Karks, that seems contradictory especially that you have left Kraken's insult. I have tried to figure out where such a rule exists and there is nowhere it exists bar the Mein Kampf. In short insults are permitted as long as Kraken is making them towards Gas, but when Gas agrees with Tom and reps Tom then that is deletable by Karky. Just to explain further this strange rulebook of yours, are insults permitted in rep comments?

So you brought up a thread that had died a month ago just to point out something that would cause drama. I see your time out was not spent in reflection. Perhaps you need another vacation.

There appears to be a slight contradiction i'm afraid and since I can't respond to Karks where he made it, he can respond here. Perhaps you too Evo can explain why Kraken's insult is left while my 100% clean post is deleted.

If you have a problem with a post, then report it, and it will be dealt with.

I'm just a mod, and I can't do anything about rep comments.

Because, as was explained by Karks, the owner of the journal asked that your post be deleted. I still don't get you. You have yet to really contribute anything exercise or diet related. And, on the flip side, you don't seem to be seeking out any advice related to exercise or diet. So what's your purpose here?

You are either one of the other posters here under a different name or your agenda is to troll.

That is is why my 100% clean post agreeing with Tom and also repping him was deleted? Tom stated something about a push/pull and biceps/triceps. If that is not fitness I don't know. I tell you there is something going on.
