Karks shouldn't be a mod

To be honest I think a lot of the newer members over the past year have made massive amounts of posts which has raised the posting 'rate' required from some of the longer term members to keep their high post counts. I remember when Proteinboy was getting comments given about him posting too much with 40 posts per day for a while. Now that's a pretty regular thing from some people, not that it's necessarily a bad thing.
Karky though has made a significant contribution to the forum, and at least puts an effort in to make the posts. So I think he deserves it. As for rep? I give rep out pretty much daily to at least a few people. I don't think that should have a huge say in it, because as Lei says, it's a flawed system. Not speaking out of jealousy of course
