After losing over 80lbs I've entered a plateau stage for the first time but I'll do my best. I have a plan to break it. I can do it! Let's encourage each other. ^_^
I'm out this month, I'm afraid, as I'm going to visit family for the whole of July and will have little control over my diet (and won't be able to measure on consistent scales). Best of luck to everyone who is participating though!
Man, Em, how do you do it? SIX WEEKS?! My plateau has been for three weeks and I'm about ready to bust. Gotta keep myself motivated with stuff like this so I don't throw in the towel!
Korrie- I am TOTALLY going to be here at the end of this month, whether my plateau sticks around for seven weeks (*shudder*) or I finally hit it!
Starting weight (July 1): ________
July 6 _____________
July 13 ____________
July 20 ____________
July 27 ____________
GOAL: Well I really have been trying to lose just one kilo for what seems like forever, which will put me into a healthy BMI range. But let's not aim that low

I've stayed motivated. It can be a bit of a downer since during this time I could have lost about 7 more of my usual pounds. But I have to stay positive. I have to remember that I've already had a fantastic success and did an amazing job losing over 80lbs. What an accomplishment! It would be disrespectful to myself not to take all of that hard work into account. Also, I remind myself that the scale can only show me a number; a trivial number. Though it hasn't changed in 6 weeks, I as a person, have. I'm more confident, more extroverted, more animated and happier every single day. I have a lot to be thankful for. My health is A+ and my family members are starting to copy my actions and become healthier themselves. I am happy for these things. So dwelling on a small 6 week time span of my entire life isn't important and will only cause undue stress. That energy can be better served helping others on this site or providing that great boost during workouts. I don't know when I will break the plateau. But that's not important to me. What is important is that I continue to show and act on what I've learned during this journey and soon enough everything will fall into place in its own time. I'm not in a rush to lose weight. I'm only in a rush to stay true to myself.
EMERALD SAYS (yes, I still don't know how to quote. Will figure it out someday) I don't know when I will break the plateau. But that's not important to me. Wow. You are my hero. Seriously - what an incredible attitude. Big cheers to you!

Edit 1: Here we go! Dream Goal: 175, Probable Goal: 178
Edit 2: I actually got down to 178 on Thursday morning! But a bad Thursday has me at 180. I think I'll actually be able to get to 175 by the end of July! Good luck everybody !
Hey I'm in. Just joined a fitness group Monday, made the sacrifice to pay for it. Hopefully with a healthy diet plan and routine exercise I will be where I want to be by the ending of July.
So, I'm going for broke, my goal is to be down to 250 by the end of July, currently I am about 264.2. So here goes:
