Jove and Skian: The Power Couple's Path to Perfection

Hahah, yeah I reckon this thread will get lots of attention. :D

Fill Me In.

Haha, sheesh, so much reaction from one pic! I can't imagine me posting one e-v-e-r-y-d-a-y...:)...but I DO think, however, we would get alot more enjoyment from seeing the appetizer on display! (you know you want to!) ;)

UpDate on "What-Really-Matters"...
~After not being able to rest as much as I would have liked, due to restlessness...
I woke up and did a bit of my challenges.

I finished a second set of the Rope/Burpees challenge and came in at 18:03...slow, I know, but in my defense...well...in my "whining" lol....Push-ups and Burpees are killer!
I finally have the jump-roping to an art, less mishaps, no tripping...as they say "it's all good".
I also did my "deadlifts" with a forty-pound weight afterwards...3 Reps of 12...

So, scheah...I'm pooped, sweaty and filling the forum in on my workout. I have Power-Pilates tonight...:( ... I know I will get my butt kicked.
(That being said- I run again tomorrow...still debating the "Half-er". I get pumped and then...well scared. So....?
Toodles!

Question: Should I...

a) go to the gym and do a heavy workout of squats, presses, pulls, etc...
b) go home and take on day two of the jump rope/burpee challenge?

c) a now, b tomorrow

or

d) a now, b immediately afterwards

Edit: Oh, wait, he's probably talking to her. Right.

Skian, Skian, Skain...

I would follow my instincts, you don't want to burn out and look like this by weeks end...:drooling1:....It's not attractive, hehe..

...and....I'm not going to answer the above comment, ;).

Anyhoo, that Burpee/Rope challenge is no-joke. It's still a power-packed work out.

Well I'm already home so the jump rope/burpee workout is going to have to work.

BTW, I weighed myself in at 171 this morning... that's about 8 lbs in 1 week. No wonder i feel terrible!

Haha...

Sheeesh! Your really motivated about this bet! Well what ever moves ya ;)....

(haha) okay I'm going to stop making myself giggle.

Did that cookie help any?

Wait, what!? I want a bet. :bncry:

For, uhh, the people. Making you post bikini pics would increase the level of happiness in the world by 18%. I will grind myself to the bone... for the people's happiness, of course. If I lose, I have to post bikini pics. What say you!?

Also, Ian, woah. o_O Das..a lot. Hopefully mostly water weight and such. Hey, you're not dehydrated, are you?

did the cookie help what? Lose weight? no. Carb craving? no. Migraine? nope... it was a waste of a cheat. However the few bites of mac and cheese i had today did help.

I'm basically calorie, carb, and sodium deficient at this point, and my body is NOT happy. I'm going to start getting back to normal, because no competition is worth the headache i've had for the last week.

Also, Ian, woah. o_O Das..a lot. Hopefully mostly water weight and such. Hey, you're not dehydrated, are you?

Certainly not dehydrated. I have been drinking 1.5 to 2 gallons a day. i'm not retaining any of it, which is why the weight's dropping.

I really wish I could have done this a healthier way, because i'm looking and feeling.... flat.

Bikini Pics for the marathon- huh? Sheesh that's steap but if I can get you in a bikini for everyone on this forum- haha- I will definately bear my lady lumps in a bikini!

Yeah, dehydrated doesn't mean not getting enough water. It means not keeping enough water. :)

Meh, live and learn. It's a process. Sounds like you could use some lifestyle-type goals rather than performance goals perhaps?
