hahaha...Stacy, your signatures are always the BEST!!

Weight today: 56,7kg/125lbs EXACTLY!!

Food Intake: 1 medium banana
1 small slice of watermelon
2 cereal nesfit cookies (53 calories total)
salad: lettuce, arugula, cherry tomatoes
2 small slices of beef (cut taco style - size of a closed fist)
1 small tapioca with a sugar spoon of butter and small slice of white homemade cheese

Exercise: 30 minutes of pilates
1hr on treadmill (6.2km)
10 arm extensions
50 arm curls (25 each arm)
100 calf-raises
100 squats

Today I started my non-invasive cosmetic treatments to reduce cellulite. Fingers crossed for some ACTUAL result and no BS propaganda. I took before pics (I also took before pics on the beginning of my weight-loss journey), but to be honest I am still contemplating whether I should post these....posting pics of me in a bikini/underwear on the internet like this is not something I am entirely comfortable of even though I am extremely proud of my body..ehehe. But on a positive note, I finally took pics of today's food intake to give everyone an idea about my meals!! So here it is...the white thing with butter and cheese is the tapioca (made of tapioca flour) - this thing is DELISH, super healthy (no gluten) and my staple to avoid bread!! Too bad you can't find this in the US yet = ( AND yes, I do eat banana with my meals (ate half of it in the morning and the other half with salad and beef during lunch time) ;-)

Bananas are my golfing food. I often eat 2 while I play. You are doing really well CaliGirl! xoC

Thanks girlies...I think we are all making positive improvements in our lives and using this forum as a venue to talk about that makes me very happy! Today is my 4th week mark since I started writing this diary and of my weight-loss/getting more fit journey.

Weight today: 56.7kg (same as yesterday). I lost 900gr this past week and 5.3kg total in the last 28days...I can definitely see the changes in my body and am pretty happy and content with it, now it's just a matter of achieving that comfortable weight so that I can enjoy guilt-free weekends eating whatever the %$#@ I want! ;-)

Food Intake: 3 thin slices of watermelon
1 cereal bar (79 calories)
8 spoons of shredded chicken breast (had 4 during lunch time and 4 during dinner, marinated on lime, meat tender and half-spoon of extra-virgin olive oil)
1 medium tomato

Exercise: 10km on treadmill
30 triceps pulse on half-squat
30 mid-bridges
300 abs variation

Weight today: 56,3kg

Food Intake: 3 spoons of shredded chicken breast
1 medium papaya
1 cereal bar (78cal)
1 small slice of pineapple
1 portion of Mixed Tempura - 12pc. - fried Fish, Shrimp and veggies
1 Cocktail (fruits and vodka)
1 spoon of rice

Ok, as you can see...I totally got out of my usual diet...this is the first time in 4 weeks since I had anything fried and 1st time in 6 weeks eating rice. I went out with friends and had the tempura/rice/cocktail. Not even 13 minutes after my meal I started having flashes, cramping, bad stomach pain.......maybe it was the portion size (ate all 12pc.) - maybe the fact that I had these 3 together and they are all items that my doctor asks me to keep an eye on, or even the fact that I've been eating super healthy and this was all out a bit too much...but I am definitely paying the price, bc as I type this I am in SO MUCH PAIN, that even if food was delicious...had I known it would be THIS BAD, I would be more modest about what I ate! =(

Exercise: 5km on treadmill
100 squats
100 calf-raises
50 arm curls (25 each arm)
200 abs variation
30 mid-bridge

That's no good caligirl! I have trouble with deep-fried food. Hope you work out what is causing the pain! xoC

took a day off to take care of my stomach issues (feeling much better the last couple of hours, I was still in pain earlier today)...but had to stop by today to "celebrate" my 1 month anniversary here...as I have said before, I am extremely pleased with all the progress I have made thus far and actually surprised with the results.

Weight today: still at 56,3kg - but I didn't weight yesterday and I am sure it was over that after the night out...I just ate light yesterday and today and have been taking easy on work-outs bc I can't function too well while in pain (and I don't take a medicine unless I go to the hospital, so I was dealing with it as it was).

Food Intake: 1 small apple
1 medium papaya
Salad: lettuce, cherry tomatoes and asparagus
6 crackers with light tuna spread

Exercise: 30 minutes of pilates
40 minutes of strength functional training mixed with dancing

Weight today: 55.9kg/123.2lbs

Food Intake: 5 mini-egg yolks
3 spoons of farina (flour)
1 small apple
2 crackers
1 cereal bar (79cal)
Salad: 3 leafs of lettuce + 2 spoons of sliced pumpkin
1 hamburger beef
1 small fish fillet (50grams)

Exercise: 3km treadmill
130 leg kickback (65 each leg)
300 abs variation
30 triceps pulses (on half squat)
120 calf-raises
10 arm extensions
35 arm curls

CaliGirl- I hope you are feeling better soon sweets. Are you eating enough do you think? xoxo Cate

Thanks everyone...for the well wishes and concern. I was back to my old self yesterday and today was good too, thus enabling me to eat a bit more......when I am in pain, I do very little and eating hurts too...it's been a lifelong struggle with stomach issues, but with my doctor's consent and supervision I know what to do/what works for me when in pain. Speaking of doctors......on Thursday I start doing my annual check-up, I am meeting up with my Nutrologist (a nutrologist differs from a nutritionist, in the sense that he can request all kinds of exams to see what kind of nutrients are deficient on your body and what foods should I add to my current nutrition)...I look forward to his opinion and to my exams' results because even though I am not starving, I have decrease my portion size considerably...tough I have a feeling he will be happy that I have decreased my sugar intake, Lol

Weight today: 56,2kg (increase today and actually expecting an increase tomorrow as well...just ate more after two days of little food due to my stomach pain).

Food Intake: 1 small apple
1 medium size cheese cube (50calories)
4 crackers with light tuna spread
5 nesfit cookies
1 spoon of pumpkin puree
190 grams of fish fillet (tilapia)
2 cups of chips (50grams)
1 ice cream ball

Exercise: 8km on treadmill
60 mid-bridge
50 arm curls (25 each arm)
500 abs variation
100 calf-raises
100 backward lunges
100 mini-jumps

I'm glad you are getting good support re your diet & hope your stomach problems are sorted CaliGirl. A lot of us seem to have problems with food intolerances, irregularities in the gut etc. Take care, xo Cate

Weight today: 56,3kg

Food Intake: 1 grilled ham/cheese sandwich
1 glass of acerola cherry (also known as Barbado's cherry) juice - with sugar
1 cereal bar (79calories)
2 medium beef-stew meat with 1 mini potato (size of an egg)

Exercise: 13km on treadmill
90 mid-bridge glute elevation with 90 pulses
300 abs variation
20 arm curls and elevation
40 triceps pulses with half squat
300 up-down on step board

NOTE: Tomorrow is my 5th week weigh in......considering my weekly results I am not expecting a greeeeat number difference compared to last week, which was 56.7kg.......either way, I think it is important to keep myself motivated. I knew it wouldn't be always sooooo easy and that I would have "slow" weeks.......as long as I keep pushing it, I will get there. ;-)

On another note, tomorrow I am receiving an Award for my work/contribution with the Marine. I am so excited, and honored...I will try to get a work-out done earlier in the day and eat healthy before the event...where I may or may not be tempted to eat some. =D

Hope everyone is well...sending you all positive thoughts and love!

Xoxo

Woof, finally found some time to stop by here today...I was incredibly busy and overwhelmed these past two days and didn't bother to write down what I ate and how much exercised I got done (it wasn't much)...Yesterday, I went to my nutrologist and there were good news and bad news.......the good news is that I pretty much nailed everything(foods) that I was intolerant and confirmed through an exam (basically anything fattening, wheat/white flour, lactose, and cow's meat), in addition to prohibited items due to migraines, I say it's good news bc at this point, at least I am used to avoiding such foods so there shouldn't be much difference from what I was already eating - bad news is that on the preliminary results I tested positive for some worms (sorry if it's TMI, but I want to write this down to remind myself that I will be on medicine for the next 60days treating this). Nothing serious detected initially, but on Monday I will drawn blood and do other exams.

My BMI is within the correct range (I knew this already), but I was SUPER excited to find out that I am at 13% of body fat......which is as low as I wanted to go and near athlete range...my doctor asked me to work more on upper-body to build on some muscle...I really try, but my arms and torso are super hard to build up, it's always the area I lose weight the most........my legs and thighs on the other hand, accumulate fat and if I work out hard they get swollen and build up mass very easily...so I am trying to balance up...eventually I want to get a few personal trainer and vary my sessions to add on some weight-lifting training.

Weight today: 56,7kg - well, up from previous weigh in days......I believe that writing down what I ate makes me more conscious of portion control, because even if it's healthy food, if I am not writing down quantity, then I just keep eating till I am full.

Food Intake: 2 small apples
1 plate of vegetable soup
1 cereal bar
5 crackers with tuna light spread (ok, have to become more cautious about crackers and cookies, both contain flour even at integral versions...I think I will get back to tapioca flour, which is allowed and gluten free).

Exercise: 300 abs variation
6km on treadmill
40 triceps pulses
10 arms elevation 8lbs weight
60 mid-bridge elevation with pulses
100 calf-raises
100 regular squats
100 kickbacks (50 each leg)
