Hey Everyone,

Happy New Year! No more holiday excuses - let's get serious!

This year is going to be the year of finally kicking weight-problems in the butt for good and I'm not wasting any time getting started...
Seems there is no challenge for January currently up and the Valentine's challenge looks abandoned at the moment - plus I like very short term goals so... join me if you'd like for a January challenge!

January 1: 170.8 lbs (I'm more like 169 but I think there's water weight there)
January 8: 167 lbs
January 15: 165 lbs
January 22: 163 lbs
January 29: 161 lbs

Going to try for 4 lbs this month. Not much but slow works best for me.

I'm in too! I did a big weight loss a few years back (getting to 128 from 294) but have gained over the last couple of years.

Start weight for January: 12 stone 3.4 pounds which is 171.4 pounds
Goal weight January…....: 11 stone 9 pounds which is 163 pounds
Long term goal weight...: 9 stone which is 126 pounds

January 1: 12 stone 3.4 pounds which is 171.4 pounds

I generally do weigh-ins on saturday, so will see what I start at, but hoping roughly 2lb a week still :) Below might change slightly based on sats weigh-in, (e.g. If xmas was bad! :( )

WAH! This sucks!

I am going through the same thing... I am grateful for not gaining much through the holidays But now I can't seem to lose despite cutting back and exercising again. Just gotta hang in there.

I just started Insanity so I think it's throwing things out of whack for a bit in my case.
 
The people that havent gained much over Christmas are bound to see lower losses in January compared to those of us that gained... A part of the gains are sodium induced water retention and are dropped as soon as people drink water in sufficient quantity.

I am losing weight nicely - but still eroding my Christmas gain...

I would still much rather be one of the people with no losses and no gain to erode...
 
Hi guys, I'm back and not doing so well (put back about 25-30lbs last year:banghead:).... but no excuses.. here's to starting off 2013 correctly.:nopity:

Intial Weight: 296.4
Goal Weight: 286.4

January 1: 296.4 lbs (I believe some/alot of this is/maybe water weight)
