I work away from home (sometimes!) on a 7-on 7-off schedule and I'm on location right now. I did my grocery shopping before I left and have intentionally gone high protein, low carb so I am interested to see results when I get back to civilisation. I bought no potato/rice and only 1 loaf of bread(2 slices @ 40cals/day). 5lbs chicken/2lbs salmon had been my 7 dinners. Snack of oatmeal or fruit. 7 bananas/7apples/7oranges. Chunky soups for lunch, 240-280 calories each. Trying to stay around 2,000 calories/day.
I've done a little resistance work and ran 7.2 miles on saturday. I bought a MilkyWay to reward and ate it yesterday instead of an evening yoghurt.
Fisrt road run in years and my shins/calfs felt it for days. The treadmill in the warm gym doesn't feel like that!!!
