Well, I'm about to start Day 3 of my amazing adventure here in Sin City. Last night was awesome, except we had a couple set backs/upsetting news:
1) One of the expiditors of the show (and a magnate on the competition circuit), Steve Stone, the guy who helped run the Olympia logistically, and helped the competitors backstage, died suddently of unknown causes at 2:15pm yesterday while he was backstage. He just fell face first on the floor.
2) The webcast didn't work at the night show. No one saw it clearly.
3) The Convention Centre AND Orleans Arena didn't have wireless internet, so I couldn't do a play by play blog; I could only write articles/blogs AFTER the fact.
Today, I woke up, had breakfast and did cardio. There were already two women in there before me...crazy. They looked AMAZING! Everyone here looks like a figure competitor, but I don't know if they actually compete, as I was too intimidated to talk with them. Seeing all these people makes me feel so FAT Everyone just looks so good, and they make it look so effortless. It makes me wanna try SO friggin' hard, and take the next 6 weeks to a level never reached by a moral before. I am so serious right now, it's not even funny.
STARTING TODAY, there will be absolutely nothing left in the gym or in the kitchen. No ifs, ands or buts. No excuses. No looking back. It's a no-holds barred, all-out assault on my body and the competition.
My reviews of women's finals and men's prejudging: I am the person who wrote with the QUESTION MARK in the avatar.
