Jaim91 and Calcium: Because girlz do it better...and harder.

Well I won't be doing any kind of lifting routine until October. I'm going on a backpacking trip at the end of September so that's not really enough time to really get into anything. Not sure what I'll be doing on my carb days until then :confused: I know for some of them I'll be walking around the local forest preserves with a pack on my back to score some endurance for the upcoming trip. Any ideas anyone?
 
Haven't Jaime in a while so stopped checking back....

Been hiking alot lately though :devil: Getting ready for my Black Hills trip in week! Hiked 8 miles the other day :sport2:
 
I am officially the worst partner ever :(

Calciu, You shoulda e-mailed me!!! I have been to hectically, grossly busy, it's not even funny!

- New FULL time (24 hours/week) job, working at a high end, white collar gym
- Dumped (twice) and got back together with (twice) my boyfriend of 4 months.
- Am a FULL time student finishing up my last year
- 6 weeks out until competitions

So needless to say I've had 3 anxiety attacks since the beginning of September because I think I took on a little too much....but I'm back in action.

How YOU doin' partner???!!!! :D

Well, I'm in Vegas now for the Mr. Olympia competition. My mom and I are just chilling, hanging out...until the festivities start tomorrow. I'm covering the show for bodybuilding.com, so I have a press pass, and will be blogging all day tomorrow and Saturday about the men's/women's prejudging/night shows :)

Alright, you know how we're all our own worst critics? Well, I'm no exception. So when I see even a SLIGHT change in my body, I don't take it seriously until is starts recurring. Well...I have an IMPORTANT recurring change to report!

ALERT! ALERT! ALERT!

I HAVE A SHOULDER VEIN!!!! YES! That's right! It starts near the end of my collar bone, and goes diagonally about 1-1.5 inches. But it's a thick ass mofo, and got super crazy when I did my shoulder workout tonight!

Other than that, my mom and I went to see the most AMAZING Cirque Du Soleil performance at The Mirage called "Love". It was acrobatics, arials, dancing ALL SET to Beatles music...it was really indescribable; that's how good it was. And we were 5 rows from the stage!! :D "When in Vegas...."

I went from 165 in the last set I posted, to 148 in the most recent set!
