Hey everyone, thanks for all your posts. You guys are so great! I did have a good time with Dan last night.
We're having fun. I couldn't see him tonight because I'm up to my ears in schoolwork. Agh! I'm getting ready to write a paper about Shakespeare's 'Much Ado About Nothing' right now, then I have several other things to tackle. I want to finish all of it so I can see him tomorrow.
I feel like I'm slipping. Obviously I already told you guys my eating this weekend wasn't good at all. I did go out today and I spent $60 on healthy food and salads stuff. Here are my salad ideas so far Christina:
I'm starting with a base of spring mix, hearts of romaine, carrots, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, and red peppers. Then I have several ideas for making them different and tasty.
1. Asian style salad, with mandarin oranges, chow mein noodles (just a few for crunch!) and Asian ginger dressing
2. Cobb style salad with veggie Chick'n, veggie bacon, and a hardboiled egg, topped with honey dijon
3. Taco style salad with seasoned veggie ground beef, some coby jack cheese, and this cool black bean cheddar dip stuff I got (the dip is pretty low in cals)
4. Sweet salad, with apple slices and strawberries, topped with a poppy seed dressing
5. Simple salad topped with raspberry vinegarette.
I got all the stuff to make all of those different salads. I have premade three "base" salads and I will have to go back to the store for more lettuce once I eat those three. I don't want to buy too much and let it go bad.
I need to pick it up with water. I'm always on the go, so the only time I ever remember to drink a lot of water is when I'm sitting at work. But even then I get drowsy and pop a Diet Coke for the boost. I like water though, so I definitely need to drink more.
Exercise is another. The only exercise I've been getting is with Dan.
And there isn't enough of that. I'm planning on buying a bike as soon as the weather cools down (sometime in November hopefully.) I'm also planning on joining Curves once I can find one that will let me pay monthly.
I'm on a plateau, stuck at 175 from 240. I've accomplished a lot and my life has changed a lot since I first started. I really do want to shed the last 30...I just feel stuck right now. But I'll stick to it and hopefully be able to move soon!
