Hope your stomach feels better when you wake, Jane. Peppermint, spearmint & lemon/ginger tea is good too. I drink peppermint tea every day. Adding in a banana wouldn't go astray. Take care not to eat too little, xo

3 Weeks + 1 Day

I lost 1.6 pounds!!! WOOHOO!!! That's three times my half-pound-a-week goal. It's because i got my period. The week i get it i always have a good weight loss. The week before is usually lousy which is what happened last week, at least partially. That makes 2.4 pounds total over three weeks. So that averages 0.8 pounds a week -- almost a full pound. I'm over the moon!!!

Hugs,

Jane.

3 Weeks + 1 Day

I was active today doing strenuous Spring cleaning and shopping so i didn't do any formal exercise. I had some variety in my diet today which was welcome. I'm not drinking as much plain water now as i'm no longer using it to kill my hunger. I'm really enjoying my healthy new lifestyle!

breakfast: waffle with butter, green grapes, yogurt, protein drink

lunch: broccoli and cheese soup, egg salad sandwich

dinner: Shepherd's Pie, savory butternut squash and brussel sprouts with olive oil

misc: 2 herbal teas, flavored water, 2 pop

total: 1691

Hugs,

Jane.

3 Weeks + 2 Days

Yay for improved activity levels! Exercise may not be the most important thing in weightloss but it definitely helps with well-being. Which in turns helps keep the cravings at bay.

3 Weeks + 3 Days

My cals are a bit low today because i felt nauseous mid-day but they were high yesterday so it all works out.

breakfast: waffle with butter, green grapes, yogurt, protein drink.

snack: Clementine

lunch: stick of cheese, raspberries, flour tortilla, protein drink

dinner: Thai peanut chicken, savory salad with olive oil

misc: 1L water, 2 pops

total: 1181

exercise: 1.25 hours walking

Hugs,

Jane.

I was hungry and cranky this evening and i was scared of having trouble sleeping because of my sub-1200 cal day, like what happened before so i thought i'd treat myself. I wanted to get a little 210 cal bag of cheesies like i got the other day but they only had 510 cal bags. It still fit into my day tho, under my 1750 limit. So my new total for the day is 1691 and i had a third pop as well. That's the first time i've eaten in the evening in 24 days. I'll have to be more diligent about eating more during the day. Hugs, Jane.

That final total looks better to me than the first one, to be honest, even if it took something unhealthy to get there. I´m glad you listen to your body.

I just wanted to quickly drop by and say what a wonderful job you're doing so far. A little late, but congrats on the 1.6 pounds lost! It may not seem like a lot, but it all adds up over time. Like, just imagine picking up a 5 pound bag of apples, or a 10 pound bag of rice or something. The numbers don't seem very large, but when you pick it up, you definitely notice a significant weight to it. That's at least the way I like too look at it. A few pounds might not look like much on a scale, but if you go out and buy a pound of meat, or a pound of flour, etc. you're gonna feel it. It's just nice to see an outside comparison to the weight you've lost.

Anyway, you're doing great! A fantastic job, and I wish you all the best as you continue moving forward.

3 Weeks + 4 Days

Thanks for the support, everyone!

I was feeling hungry and cranky again this afternoon after a disappointing lunch. I was jonesing for some junk but i just told myself i'd feel worse after and i fought it off. I ordered a Greek vegetarian brochette platter instead and it was beautiful! I ate the whole thing mindfully and really enjoyed it and my belly finally feels full and i feel satisfied. My cals today are just an estimate.

brekky: the same as always

lunch: egg salad sandwich, tomato bisque soup

dinner: Greek vegetarian brochette platter

misc: 1L water, 2 pop

total: 1700

exercise: walking 75 minutes

Hugs,

Jane.
