Hi All

I was seriously wondering what all you lovely people loose on average each week?

At the moment I am loosing 1.3kg's and was wondering if you could post what your loosing so we can compaire the figures? I think I read somewhere that we should all loose at least 1kg a week if were not plateuing? I'm not sure about that but would love to find out about you all. Also if you have deviated can you put that in there too as the results would change.

1st week- 4 kilos.
Thats how much I lost the first week. I will weight at 2 weeks and post again for you >.<
 
You can't alter this so it's not worth thinking about really. It varies depending on how much you have to lose & if you have any underlying medical problems that may slow you down, TOM etc etc. You lose as you lose as you lose.
I had 36 kgs to lose so after the initial rapid weight-loss in the first 4 weeks I lost somewhere between 4-5 kgs each month.I know so many people who would have almost killed to lose at that rate who were also sticking to Cohen's 100%. Comparisons lead to disappointments. Curiosity doesn't hurt though but be aware there are so many variables.

I would be the big exception, unfortunatelly. I have to lose 30kg, so a lot, but on my first week I lost 3.7, on second week 1.1, and since (4 days now) than nothing at all. AND there was 2 days when I gain a weight actually! :( ( = I`m haveier now then on my second week...) I don`t understand that, it`s not my TOM...I know I shouldn`t stand on scale, but my clothes doesn`t show any results, because I don`t have any tight, I don`t like them, so my every outfit a little bit loosen. And the tapemeasure...ohh yeah, it shows I lost 3.5 cm from my tummy, which is very obvious, but it isn`t a fat lost at all, it just shows my stomach getting smaller, and don`t push out my tummy...I`m depressed & annoyed, sorry...
 
I wish I could tell you but I am only allowing myself to weigh once a month. Weekly weigh-in is no good for me based on my last experience in Cohen.

But my consultant did tell me I should expect an average of 1.4kg loss per week.
 
Wow thank's for posting so far people! It is interesting to see what everyone is loosing and even though we cant change how much were loosing each week- as Cate infered: You lose as you lose as you lose it's nice to know where you sit I guess.

I will post every week and if other people post we can get an average of how much in general people loose. Also in the first 4 weeks your always going to loose so much more so dont be discouraged if you dont pull the same numbers to follow. I know about a year ago I went on cohens on my old program and lost 20kg's in a month (50kg's to loose) and now on my new program I have only lost 8kg's in the first month (45kg's to loose) so I guess it depends on your individual bodies, hence the blood chemistry check!

Lanina- Dont get discouraged yet. I have heard alot of people say they loose then put on while being on the program as fat get's re-distributed around and fluid can be retained even if it is not TOM. Also remeber that our bodies loose fat in cycles so in the first month I would recommend only weighing after four weeks (as all the consultants say). I now weigh every week and then take it as a monthly average. If you have your blood test and it says that you haven't deviated (I am sure you haven't) then you know it is just your body adjusting. Also I have heard that if you dont sleep enough, drink enough water, eat more crackers of fruit, eat your meals 5 hours apart that you wont loose as quickly so maybe just check to make sure your following it okay :)

Just want to add my stats.....
I came back from my 12 week follow up..
So over 12 weeks I have lost ±1.3kg a week!
MY CONSULTANT CONFIRMED THAT 1.3KG IS A HEALTHY AND 'NORMAL' AMOUNT FOR ANY COHENITE!

Fantastic work Starfish :) It seems if your 100% commited to cohen's it works a treat!!!

That's another 1.5kg's for me this week- this has not happened for at least 5 weeks I think, so I am very greatful :) Will weight-in this Monday and give another update.

Happy times as the kilos melt away in this London heat-wave.

Good stuff Yukio!!! You can do it honey :) I know you can. It is so totally worth it when you think you will never be the same weight again and once you have lost it it is gone for good!

Thanks Nicky. >.< Im ready. I cant wait to be a size 8 again. Gosh. Im close to it though. Im shooting for end of July to be there. All my weight is carried in midsection so I should be able to do it lol with a little muffin top because of the c-section. Im ready.
Down 7.5 kilos in 4 weeks. Ready to get down another 7.5 before vacation
