As for water, I only count the actualy water I drink - but then, I don't drink anything else LOL! But I have seen people ask about Propel, Crystal Light etc.

I feel like I'm floating away, but I also feel better drinking this much water!

Just to further clarify... any liquid counts as part of this challenge, if you want to drink your weight inbeer or tequilla.. knock yourself out... :D enjoy it...

BUT... while weight watchers says that crystal light and other such artificially sweetened beverages count towards your water goal... this is the same company, by the way, whos magazine had a glaring front page story that diet sodas make you fat... while the weight loss centers still say that diet soda is ok, and i've seen weight watchers branded diet sodas in the store :D My "expertise" on this is coming from the nutritionist/dietician at sparkpeople (who's pretty well credentialed) says that crystal lights and suchshould count as 1/2 your water consumpttion... :D

Well, after the reading I've done, and the study published in Prevention Magazine, I'm of the philosophy that drinking diet soda makes you fat too ;)

Interesting that for those places it counts as half the water consumption.

:eek: AAAHHH MAN, Im a big girl...LOL...I didnt do so well on Saturday...I didnt realize I had been entered into the challenge until Friday night, so I started Saturday...couldnt do it on Saturday...but Sunday I came close and yesturday I drank it all and then some :eek: :eek: :eek: Im very proud but it makes work hard...I had to pee four times in one hour, that makes ever 15 minutes...LOL...Plus Im in my car and commuting alot...LOL
 
i will be off work the next 2 days so when i come back i will post my water intake for the two days but if i get time before i go home today i will post my intake for today

just thought i would let everyone know I have been meeting my water goal~!! havent been on in a couple of days because i havent had access! But am tryin to update yall~ Can't wait for the weigh in, ttys, bye~!
 
Hmm

:eek: I drink all 88 oz. of pure water and 1-2 diet sodas a day! It doesn't make gain weight, but I know it's not good for you. But what can I say, I LOVE it! I hope to at least have lost 1 lb. on Friday, I have a hard time taking it off though. I have been told cause I'm down to the last 20 lbs. I'm doing WW but I went over today and am trying to do enough exercise to counter that! Any ideas would be welcome!!:p
 
Good evening, everybody:) . Just a little update: I am still drinking 120oz per day.I also exersice every day for an hour - very intense cardio lets me burn 440 cal. an hour. Can't wait to check results and I can not believe we are almost closing on a first week!:)
 
when our team's water intake is figured, and we have to have 50% compliance to get our point.... if someone has drunk 50% of their water goal every single day, does that count for something? or do only the days in which you have had the whole goal met count?
 
ok....so i have been meeting my water goal of 132 oz just so evryone knows, and i will tell ya it ain't easy i here ya on the peein every 15min, I hope i loose some weight so i'll be required to drink less:rolleyes: ...great job ya all, keep it up STAR

Hey you all!

Just read an interesting tip in Shape magazine. They said if you are trying to drink a certian amount of water a day and having problems, to try using a straw. Evidently its easier to drink with a straw then out of of a cup or a water bottle. Besides it might add some fun to it all, yeah? :)
 
oooh get one of those colorful crazy straws... that went in all sorts of curves and such... :D
