wow! I didn't know how easy it was going to be to reach my goal! I'm on my last 16oz now!

One question though...I've got this headache and for some reason, I feel like it's b/c of all the water I drank today. Does that sound at all normal?

one of the things they said during my fit tests is that my water intake is way too low, so I'm going to have to work on this. I'm sitting here right now with a bottle of water right in front of me, but I hardly ever feel thirsty. Hmmm..

Monica, um, I dont normally get headaches from water, but from not eatin, I do, it may be because of the water though...not sure, I'll try to look it up online for ya, and post it later, i've met 1/2 of my goal so far today so I think I'll make it by tonight~!! YAY!:)
 
I totally know how ya'll feel about being so full of water that you feel like you're going to throw up!

I drank so much water yesterday it's crazy but it's still not anywhere near 93 ounces. I'm not even going to bother with the numbers because this is a challenge that I'll never meet. :)
 
Kaitie that's the exact same amount I have to drink every day! And I thought about it and just about laughed! Cos I usually only have about 32oz on a good day! But surprisingly enough, just by always having a full glass next to me, I reached my goal in the span of about 6hrs!

if you are feeling thirsty.. you're body is past dehydrated.. you shold be drinking water just to keep drinking water... not because you're thirsty... like everything else -it becomes a habit...
 
Mal~ I have a question, I weigh 284 and so I am suppose to be frinkin 142 oz of water a day, I am just curious, do u think this may cause me to GAIN water weight because I am drinkin so much? Just a question, would love your opinion. Thanks~!

I'm just sitting here wondering how you down your amount of water because I have to drink around 5 litres a day and you have a little more than that. How do you do it?
 
Hello My H2O Drinkers!!!!:D Yesterday I had 82 oz of WATER. Today I had 112 oz of WATER!!!! GO ME!!! And ya'll are doing GREAT! Don't forget to drink your WATER!!;)

You shouldn't gain any water weight, in fact all i've read (and i'll do some googling n it later) says it helps to get rid of water weight instead.... The water is really just moving stuff thru your body... it helps make you more... ummm.. how to say this delicately.. regular... as well as you pee quite often....

my glass is 20 ounces... so as long as I've gotten 6 glasses in my dinner time -I'm good - cuz i'll usually have 2 glasses with dinner and another glass or more in the evening. It's really less than 1 glass every waking hour... I'm on the road again next week, so I have to make sure i stock up on water bottles.. though that three hour flight wth one glass of water is gonna suck... I'll be praying tothe god of upgrades tonite that i don't have to sit in coach :D

Mal, I don't know if you've mentioned it, but how do you want us to keep track of our water? Do we post here, in our group area, daily or just at the end of the week? Also, does water like Propel or that crystal light additive count as water? (that's been asked in the Voluptuous Vampire thread).
 
Thanks for posing the question M2M, I posed this question in my diary but was coming here to ask it as an official one for the challenge...you know...I don't want to have to drink those ounces twice...
 
Mal mentioned that any drinks count as long as they don't have caffine in them because the caffine dehydrates your body, so if you have to have that cup of coffee in the morning, you have to make up for the amount in water or whatever else.

In yout weekly weigh in thread - that you go back an edit -t here's a spot for the bonus challenges - in there put how many days you achived the goal.. (I was originally gonna do yes or no but that seemed to hard if someone did it 6 out of 7 days,, they should get partial credit...

so on a daily basis -- if you but an asterisk in the week 1 bonus section for eachday you did your water.. that'd be swell (that way i can find everything in one place)

this question gets asked a lot on spark people.. and their dietician/nutritionist answers the question that it counts as half your water.. like if you drank 10 glasses of crystal lite -it'd count as 5 glasses towards your daily goal...

for the sake of this clallenge- liquid is liquid... it all counts.... and folks - don't drown yourself.. if you're having trouble drinking that amount.. remember this challenge is supposed to be fun... don't get frustrated if you can't - there' willb e at least 3 more challenges to get points :D
