not a good day for me

sorry guys i didn't have a good day with the fruits and veggies. i was not feeling very well. the only thing i had to eat today was a handful of dired cereal for a snack and for dinner a bowl of homade chicken noodle soup with a salad. did well with the water. hope everyone else had a rainbow of a day.
 
Hey! just popping in to say let's go that extra mile today so we can kick BUTT tomorrow! Fruits, veggies, water, and exercise!!! Go Go Go ! We can win this challenge!
 
I didn't post in a while here.:) I have to say water challange was much easier for me. I am doing good with veggies and fruits, but until this color challenge I didn't realize how little color I had in my diet. Not that I didn't eat veggies and fruits, but that I limited myself to two kinds of fruit or veggie per day. I have so much fun with my salads now!Red peppers, yellow peppers, a bit of corn, tomatoes, olives - you name it. Very proud of me:) .

You poor thing:( . I hope you will feel better soon. And don't worry about not making it with rainbow day today. I am sure you will make it tomorrow.:)

I love the fruits and veggies challange. I have done everyday with 5 or more servings and atleast one serving from each color!
 
Whats your secret, how do you loose so much in a week...your doing great...maybe with me it is that little bit of crap I still hold onto but I am down 3 finally...
 
Sorry everybody... no loss for me :( I did drink all my water and eat the rainbow everyday. Hope everyone else did great!
 
Sorry ive been kind of ducking out this week, Mid terms next week, :eek: , but I did manage a few days of eating the rainbow. No pounds lost for me this week:( , but congrats to everyone who is seeing loss.

I just got home from a 1 hour date with my favorite thing, the eliptical!!! I burned 801 calories today and I already totally noticing that I am getting in better shape. I love that machine.:D

way to go on the calorie burn. it sounds like you are haveing way to much fun with that machine. LOL LOL :D ;)
 
LOL yea I know....I think I might be having a love affair with the eliptical. haha, I definately feel like this is the thing that's going to help me the most in my weightloss journey and it helps that I enjoy it so much.

I went for 45 minutes today, burned 580ish cals.
I'm discouraged today. I was up a half pound bringing my total loss for this week to only 3 lbs. On monday I weighed in at 219.5, today I weighed in at 220. So I back slid. Don't know what to blame it on though. I have a raging headache today. I'm frusterated with work. I've only managed to eat about 500 cals today due to a heavy workload and I can't find food anywhere in my office...the one dang time I need it to be here and its gone! WTF! I'm ready to eat my chair.
 
Mine is updated!!! Sorry! I was going to do it when I got home, but drama happened... and then I fell asleep at 8!!

One pound lost... wish it was more! I also met my veggies and fruits every day!
 
I work out on the elliptical for 70 minutes a day just about every week day!
it started out because my counter was telling me that it took 70 minutes to burn 500 calories... then I started hearing what all of you were saying about 40 min, 30 min...etc... and I discovered that my counter was wrong! So now I am burning almost 1000 calories a day! I am doing it already so there's no reason to pull back on it!
It feels good! :D

Just had to toot my own horn there! It's so seldom that I get to do it eh? :p

How long have you been doing the elliptical for and what weight did you start doing it at???

I really started slow with 20 minutes going really slow, like 70 paces or speed (or whatever) and I really really hurt for like 3 days after. HAHA

Now I'm up to 60 minutes with an average pace/speed of 130. It's so helpful that the elliptical is good for a person my size and it's not too hard.
 
Ohhh I did my 30 minutes for today. I'm half way to the total already woot!

Lets shake our grove thangs and kick some butt in this week's challange. We could totally move ahead. I'm going to do as much minutes as possible for our team! I'm hoping to have around 300 or more minutes for the week!
 
I did 30 today already and am going to do 30 more later. Maybe even more depending on my mood!
