I wasn't trying to convince anyone so much as I was trying to get PB to read/think about what I've said...His argument was more "This is how it is, and I haven't shown that I have followed any bit of this convorsation".

But on another note, I find it funny how "Only God can judge you"...yet a lot of die hard Christians I know are the most judgemental people I've ever known. Believe me, I know a lot.
 
actually matt, i backslid from God for a long time. during this time, i questined God and his existance. i did not believe any higher being was out there.
i dont thnk i ever really had a relationship with God until i was 16 years old...my parents stopped going to church, and God ended up bringing me back to him .

and i agree that a lot of "christians" out there are very judgemental...

so god personally changed your course so that you would follow him.
It begs the thought why he lets so many others lose faith in the almighty god.
You should be proud that he chose you should you not :s

and your mind may also be open to learning,
but if your heart is closed shut, unwilling to humble yourself to God, you will never be able to have any faith, fear, or hope in God.

that is a little harsh for those believers.. I just don't need faith to keep me in line. Like on sundays, I have other things to do than listen to a preacher and disagree and have arguments with 90 percent of the things he says.... not worth it to me. I'm fine with being gone when I die, thats what i means to die, be gone!!! lol.. but my kids will have me remembered so in a sence I will still be on earth in peoples memories. thats all. :)
 
Has anyone seen The Rapture with Mimi Rogers and David Duchovny? Just watched it the other day, pretty good movie on the God topic.
