Hi all

Hi everyone, hope your journeys are all going to plan. Just thought I would pop in as Im at a lose end tonight, my kids are at their fathers and I dont feel like going out in the cold..Ive been a really really really really good genie this week, so Im hoping that the scales show that:jump:
I have been getting some awesome comments the last few days which has really boosted my confidence 10 fold. Some of my customers are commenting on my wieght loss and asking what I doing..I tell them briefly and they are amazed. One lady said to me yesterday, are you the lady who worked her before, I said yes...she said it sounded like you but she wasnt sure. I replied that I have lost some weight since she was in last time...I was beaming from ear to ear. She said good on me and keep the work up and I replied I sure will.
Also I have my state manager flying in on wednesday, just for a quick visit and to help with some interviews for a position at work. I cant wait to hear what he has to say, as he knew I had started a diet when he was here almost a month ago...
I have also re posted my personal on an intenet site with an updated profile and photo, boy I have my work cut out for me..I have been inundated with replies, which I never ever ever in my wildest dreams expected. Plus I am also getting compliments from a lot of them...I do not accept compliments easily, but I am lapping it up, and blushing profusely.
One of my brothers who I have not seen for about 12 months may be dropping into work tomorrow so that will be interesting..to say the least.
Also one of the girls from where I work is doing a nail course at tafe and she has asked me if I wanted my nails done, so I am getting a set of extensions this Wednesday, so that will be a treat for me. I cant wait, i dont have to bad a nails, but with all the unpacking and stocking of the shelves my nails do suffer a little and are never all the same length so hopefully this will fix that, not permanently but at least for a little while,,I love having nice nails but never seems to happen.
I had for a special treat tonight a concoction I call curry prawn soup.,...boy oh its it so yummy. I cook up the prawns, add onion, tomato, liberal amount of zucchini, little bit of garlic powder and brown, Then I add 1.5 - 2 cups of water and curry powder, sometimes a little salt.(all as per allowances)..and let boil for 20 minutes or so. It is so yummo hope one of you guys who read this give it a burl and let me know what u think.
Every friday we have a jeans day and today I put on a pair of white jeans, but didnt look in the mirror until i got to work>>>OMG...n ext time I will check in mirror first...they were so baggy i had about 10cms on each leg that i could gather in...So when my relief came I went and bought some jeans from a shop across from where I work. They stock a larger selection of clothing for women and a normal range,,,so i took 1 pair of the normal range jeans in a 16 and the same in the larger selection...I tried them both on and guess what...the normal size 16 fits, a little snug but not too snug to be uncomfortable. I am over the moon...its been well over 10 years since i fitted into a normal size 16 pair of anything..woohoooooooooooo
well i think thats enough about me rabbiting on..
keep smiling everyone

Genie You are absolutely flying along. Well done! In no time at all you will be 1/2 way. I bet the compliments are coming thick & fast. You should be very proud of yourself. Cheers, cate.

hi all

Hi everyone, hope the day is treating you well. Just a quick update.
THANKS Cate for the support you are truly inspirational I know we all keep saying that but it is true...keep up the excellent work
I had a meeting with Jo in the Launceston clinic yesterday and she is a wonderful and helpful lady..so glad I took the time out to go see her.
I had some concerns mainly about my goal weight of 61-64kgs..I have never been this weight in my life and I am a big boned person and think that I just wouldnt look right. We discussed it and she said its not set in concrete and at the moment to aim for 70kgs and we will reassess it at a later date..I am undecided as to wether to change my ticker or not...I'll think on it for a few days and see. She was impressed with my loss of 20.3kgs and 71cms in just over 9weeks...HEY so am I...i still cant beleive the changes in me...allround changes in my mind, body and even personality. I find that I am a much more open and cheerful person these days.
I also had concerns as to what happens after the six month time frame and you havent acheived your desired goal what happened...she explained to me the ins and outs of it all, and Im happy with that.

I had the mother of one of my staff call in on friday and she was amazed at the changes in me as she hadnt seen me since I started the program. She has recently tried one of the shake diets but didnt last 3 days..I told her my biggest motivation is the fact that I have spent this money so I am determined that I will make it work..She has to have an operation on her knees and needs to lose weight for this, we got talking and I gave her the number for the clinic in Hobart and she was going to ring...its up to her now. I hope she does cos she is a wonderful person and does things for all her children and I think she needs to do something for her self now..
anyway thats all for now will check in on wed..weigh in day...cant weight and I never thought that I would say that about jumping on scales..I usually avoid them and the camera like the plague.
cheers everyone keep smiling
Genie

Helllo

Hi all what a wild, woolley and windy day we are having in Launceston today, glad I dont have to go out in it phew..
Well another week over, gee the weeks seem to be flying, my loss isnt flying but its steady and boy oh boy I am so happy about that. I have decided to move my ticker to 70, mainly for motivational reasons. Jo says my body will tell me when Im at my goal weight, and 70 seems a bit more realistic to me but only time will tell.
I managed to get some turkey mince from the supermarket the other day while I was shopping and boy is it a nice change, I have been sticking to chicken mainly but will get some more turkey mince this week.
My loss for this week is 1.7kgs and 3cms, a total of 21.7kgs and 74cms in 10 weeks, YAHHHHH.
Have a great day all
cheers Genie

IM sooooooooooooooooooooo happy

HI Guys, I just had to tell everyone, I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited, I tried on my first pair of size 14...YES thats right 14....and they fitted....I am sooo stoked. I have never, not that i can recall ever been in a 14 not even at school. Im chuffed to say the least, and I am so close to being half way, I cant wait for next weigh in day.
I hope everyone has an awesome weekend...I know I will...
Cheers Genie

Genie- Wow!! Well done. Size 14!! You have to love that. It's wild & stormy here today too so better get off this computer. Congrat's from me, Cate.

Time for a few more goal incentives

Hi everyone thought I should update my goal list and a a couple or additional goals to give me some more incentive so here goes:

1st Goal - 112Kgs - completed
2nd Goal - 105kgs (pre divorce weight) completed
3rd Goal - 99kgs (double figures) completed
4th goal - 93.5 half way
5th goal - 89kgs (under 90KG)
6th Goal - 86kgs (pre wedding weight)
7th Goal - 81.75 (3/4's of the way)
8th Goal - 75kgs (almost there)
9th Goal - 72kgs (refeed)
10th Goal - 70kgs (revised goal weight)

Think that should do it...my last and final GOAL will be to stay skinny...that should be a challenge all in its self.

Cheers for now
Genie:)
