Gay marriage

Scary focus on the family type?? That quite the generalization... if more people would "focus on their family", or even other people for that matter, this country would be a much better place.

Instead, so many people are too worried about themselves, getting as much free stuff as possible, avoiding personal responsibility, and expecting others to take care of their problems... This is becoming a "WHAT ABOUT ME?" society, instead of a "What can I do?" society!

yeah scary Focus on the Family type.

They may have utilized the phrase but they are a bunch of WACKOS. I'm all for focusing on my family, ...considering I'm at AT HOME MOM but they are as bad as the Constitionalist cult.....

Now you've gone too far right. Being conservative does not mean we are citizen militia who shredded our drivers licenses.:cheeky2:

something to think about:

If you're a young boy growing up and a lot of your friends are smoking pot, wouldn't you say that you're more likely to smoke pot and enjoy it??

now substitute the word "pot" with the word "pole" and tell me that the statement doesn't still stand?

So would you say smoking pot is a choice or is it hard-wired??
What is your point?

If I ever become a paranoid anti-government redneck, I'm going to have a chainsaw for one hand and carry around a shotgun in the other.

But our alliegance will be to hunting zombies and the undead.

Hey, I'm all for granting gays the same rights as married couples. But sensoring books that talk about a female "mom" and a male "dad", and offering bathrooms for kids who are confused about their sexuality?? who are the wackos?

There are extremes on either side of the discussion... no need for name calling

Where are those books censored? Bathrooms for kids who are confused about their sexuality? Where does this happen? Not up here in Canada, that's for sure ...

The US must have some real whack jobs on the fringe end ... that's what happens when the pendulum swings too far the other way. Eventually, things come back to centre ;)

Zombies, post-apocalyptic survival, and the complete dissolve of all the progress man has made is one of my greatest fears.

Oh! Then you'd cringe in fear from reading Neuromancer. Well, they have no zombies, but two out of three fears in one reading aint bad. You could read it while watching Army of Darkness.

Why do I feel like I'm missing a quote from something?

There have been attempts made in California to pass that kind of legislation. I'm not sure whether or not it passed, but there are certainly people out there pushing for it...
