Geez, has it really been over 2 weeks since I posted? My diet's been horrible ever since I closed on my house. I've been eating, drinking beer and haven't exercised (until Tuesday and Thursday of this week). I jumped on the scale yesterday morning and YIKES, 206. But, I was back down to 203 this morning and expect to be right at 200 or 201 by in the morning. A bunch of water weight from too much beer. No beer yesterday, ate well, exercised and dropped 3 lbs, lol. I've finally got my mindset back and am not going to compromise all the weight i've lost due to poor decision making.
I've finally got everything just about organized at the new house so things are rolling my way again. I'm going to buy a treadmill in the next couple of weeks and my son and I are going to exercise together on the weeks I have him. I usually take those weeks off but not anymore. He needs to drop some weight too and will exercise provided I'm in there with him and we exercise together.
I'll try to document a little more frequently now that I'm back on track. I keep saying I'll post pics but not until I get down to 190. If I start putting more effort into it maybe i can be there in a month or less. We'll see. I've got a 5k run in the morning provided the weather is decent. Then my folks are coming over to see the new house now that it's put together. Hang in there all.
G8R, let me know if you wanna put together a challenge since your triathlon is over. I can shoot for 185lbs and we can challenge each other all the way there. I've got bike ride next weekend but will probably opt for the 30 mile option since I haven't spent any time on the bike (road bike that is) lately. Just let me know what you think. Take care all, Greg
