Thank you Cate. To be honest, I doubt there is one. I just need to let go of what little comforts/luxuries I have, budget even harder, and try to remember that education is priceless as I start to pay the loans back. I'll contact the psych clinic social worker ASAP to see if they have some solution.I'm so sorry

In America, people owe student loans up until death. It affects our credit score, a point system that enables us to make large purchases such as a house and car. People also rarely pay back medical bills, luckily this doesn’t affect our score.
((sorry if you knew what a credit score was, I don’t know what other countries have))

Student loans are backed by the state, so in case of permanent disability f.e. the loan will be paid by the state. The conditions for this are fairly strict though.
I had the strangest dream. I was on a sinking ship. A man took the only lifeboat but told me to jump onto my paraglider, look for land and try to glide to safety. A powerful dream. I was terrified but I could see a faint shoreline in the distance. I kept going with my back and hands burning from exertion but I made it. Back on land, a jolly fatherly guy told me to use sunscreen and then I woke up.

No, I meant, what would happen if you didn’t pay it back? Here, it makes it harder to buy a car or house.

Ahh sorry! Well, I would probably need to go through a lot of paperwork and the interest would grow. Unlike other debts, I could not be jailed for missing payments. It would probably affect my credit score, but with my income I'm not eligible for housing loans anyway. I need to find more info.No, I meant, what would happen if you didn’t pay it back? A few updates:
- I decided to go sober for 5 weeks, until the trans clinic appointment is over. I put it in my calendar.
- I decided to apply for an animal trainer program as soon as things move forward at the psych clinic and social services. They should help me with this plan. My goal is to graduate with a license to work with disabled, especially other autistic, people in animal assisted therapies. This could be a part-time job so I could keep my disability payments and earn some extra while helping people. The state supports people like me who want to return to the workforce. Becoming a movie director is a pipe dream - this is realistic. My former experience working in a housing unit for autistics as well as my Theology degree, combined with my special interest regarding animals, should play well together when applying for funding & a trainee position.
- When the floor drying company guy comes to pick up his stuff on Tuesday, I'm going to jump the shark and ask if he's single. Especially if I do it as he's on his way out, I don't think it constitutes as sexual harassment. If I'm trapped in the body of a busty blonde, might just as well put it to good use. And I can say it jokingly.
That sounds amazing! Sounds like a solid plan and I imagine you would be great at that.
I hope you work out your current financial issues...that's a tough thing to have to deal with for sure.

Exactly! And if I can get part time employed, I can buy equipment and make movies as a hobby. Youtube is full of self-taught amateur auteurs.

Made soy mince bolognese with black beans and served it with spaghetti and cheese. I have leftovers for later. I´m going to be a gassy boy tonight but at least the combo of soy, beans, and pasta gives me complete amino acids to help build my muscles. It was nice to see that even though I´m not feeling my best I still did reasonably well at the gym. I saw a middle aged couple doing lat pulls with the strangest form I´ve ever seen. I was scared the weight would sling them into the ceiling!
