I was out of town for a few days so forgot to post my new stats! So far, I am down 3.1 pounds, so I'm pretty happy. Not sure if I will make it up to 7 lbs, but I'd love to just get under 120 lbs. We'll see. Hope you are all doing well, and keep up all the good work!
Hello. I've lost 2.5lbs since I joined the challenge last week (aiming to lose 3.5lbs by my last February weigh in next Wednesday). That gives me a pound to lose by next week. Hopefully I can do that and possibly a bit more, as I have a lot of weight to lose. On the other hand, I don't want to take anything for granted as I know how easy it is to get stuck when you're not expecting it.

my new goal is to truly get to where I was on 2/1 (supposedly), how sad is that?
The 2/1 was false low weight, I think it should have been 149 as it was every other day before and after, then a day later it was TOM, after which I was back to 150 then got discouraged and ballooned back up to 153 but I'm back on track now. I wont know for sure if I get back down to 147 since it will soon be TOM again BUT I will try not to get off course or discouraged by the large weight gain I always have knowing as long as I dont dive into the chocolate it WILL go away in a week or so!
Mom2, try not to get too discouraged if your weight goes up during TOM. Unfortunately we can't really do much about that. Just stick with your plan throughout and when TOM is gone the scale will finally reflect your hard work. Maybe stay away from the scale when you know TOM is coming until it leaves you. If you don't see the temporary increase maybe you wont get so discouraged.
I weighed in less yesterday but I was sick with a stomach virus so I'm going to count the higher weight even though I don't want to! You all are doing such a great job this month!!!!! keep it up!
Popcorn - keep walking and being good with your food and I know that you will get that next pound. Many of us started with a lot to lose.
Mom2 - Many of us watch our weight go up with TOM. My weight today is actually slightly higher than it was on 22nd because TOM is round the corner - so my 7 pounds for the month is far from assured. It can often take nearly 2 weeks for me to get back down to my pre-TOM low. In a long project like mine (I am a year into my project now) you learn that these things happen and you have to accept them.
Starting weight, 01.02.08: 11st 10.8lbs i.e. 164.8 pounds
Week 1, 08.02.08: 11st 08.6 i.e. 162.6 pounds (total loss 2.2 pounds)
Week 2, 15.02.08: 11st 07.4 i.e. 161.4 pounds (total loss 3.4 pounds)
Week 3, 22.02.08: 11st 02.8 i.e. 156.8 pounds (total loss 8.0 pounds)
Good job everybody. I will not be able to share in the celebration this week because of a evil place named "Vegas." lol I knew this would happen before leaving, so I'm not upset. I'm back on track with the gym, and actually made three more gym buddies. One is a Mountain bike racer so she has me doing spin classes. She's crazy! haha Next weigh in we should see a difference. I don't think I'll hit seven pounds though because I don't lose weight Biggest Loser style. tehehe

Tarrish, I went to vegas couple of weeks ago. I totally understand how it's so hard to watch everything you eat/DRINK while out of town, esp in SIN CITY. I was also happy to have not gained any weight while I was there! If I wer eyou, I'd be proud of squeezing in some exercise and NOT gaining weight (I read that in another post )!
