Nosquats. I'm doing them right now and want to do DL's instead. I don't like to do too many moves for a muscle group.

Yes I'll be doing my pull up circuit as well.

I usually do the DL's, squats, or lunges second or third in my routine to make sure I'm good and warmed up.

Renegade Rows (Good Christ! Third time doing these and they hit just as hard if not harder than compounds, awesome core stability exercise and goes damn well along side DB Curls for a nice short superset.)

I will be lowering to 25lbs next time, I want to work on form before starting to go high on these...)

20 min. Stationary bike forest ride program level 8 AHR of ~140.

A few short term goals here:
-Work on form on the DB BPs, still shaky and although I can do 50x10x8x6 I want to stay at 50lbs until the form improves and the "shakyness" disappears.
-I need to ditch the Leg Press and either do lunges or squats, I know I can handle lunges, but squats always **** my bad ankle up, I need to try a low weight ei. 100lbs and see what happens again. I finaly found a clinic that might be able to help me with my ankle, will call them tomorrow.
-I need wrist straps, things like my DB shrugs could be better if I had straps...

No problem, Eric :)

If you're leg pressing 450 pounds (that's an awful lot of weight, Eric -- is that really what you're leg pressing with a bum ankle?), you've definately got the leg strength going on for squats, but make sure you still have the core strength going on ;)

And be kind to your ankle. It's a complex mass of bone and tissue, and not very forgiving if you tick it off :D

Although i see a lot of people using a 1" range of motion. Hope thats not you Eric!

upped the weight here. Amazing what a difference 10 lbs can make

Cable pull down

bicep curls
90 lbs
2x12 each arm

Overall it was a good session.

Although i see a lot of people using a 1" range of motion. Hope thats not you Eric!


I believe it its easy to leg press a lot of weight.
 
Yeah, they are deceiving...get off the leg press machine, so a circuit of walking lunges and you will be trashed.

Nice lifting on the BORs Kraken, I know what you mean. 5-10 lbs can make a world of difference, props for throwing the weight on and giving it a go.
 
I feel all powerful today. I've had 4 possibly 5 power foods today.
spinach, almonds, blueberries, red cabbage, and a protein shake. LOL
depending on how you look at it I guess.

I'm ready to run.
 
Hell yeah, those are power foods in my eyes. I'm feeling good today too, but gotta force myself to take a day off, lest I lift 3 days straight. I'll be chomping at the bit to lift after work tomorrow...

Guess tonight I'll have to settle for watching football and eating wings...

I'm running tonight and doing pull ups. We are still having nice weather so I'm gonna get out.

I could be all about chasing some tail around a bar tonight though too. LOL

Hell yeah man, your weather is probably similiar to mine down here. Mid 70s is awesome...November has been great so far.

LOL I would but I don't think the wife is gonna go for it. We are going out for our anniversary tomorrow so I'll feed her some Tequila and maybe get some back door action and give her a facial.

Hahaa, you're a crazy mofo. That's a good trade off though, get your rest tonight and have a wild time with the wife! Just watch the eyes...
