I appreciate you being honest in your journal. I have to post my food for the last couple of days which was a bit shameful at times as well. I rented a movie on Friday and bought some of those sour patch kid candies. I ate all the red ones and it was one of those large sizes. I don't like the other colors, so I'm not sure what to do with them now. I live alone, and I don't want to be that stranger lady giving candy to kids, so I'll probably just throw them out. Anyhow, I woke up with stained teeth, a red tongue, a stomach ache, and my mouth was all tore up from the roughness of them. I'm still recovering. My stomach just hasn't been right. Too much acids in those things. I learned my lesson. Switch to something else. haha

I could never lose weight at my mom's house. There is always ice cream in the freezer, whip cream, and chocolate sauce. It's a terrible place to be on a diet. And at your house. Mmmm Pizza is hard to turn down. I can't really think of anything clever other than leaving the room when the food gets there. RUN! haha Close the room of your bedroom and put a towel under the door so the aroma of fresh baked pizza doesn't assault you. haha Seriously, I know that has got to be rough. I can't tell if the rubber band is working yet, since I just started the other day, but I have been snapping it whenever I go hunting through the kitchen for no reason, or start thinking about snacking when I'm not actually hungry. It hurts sometimes! But that's the point isn't it ;)

I weighed in this morning at 194, 1lb down from last week. I'm pleased with this.

Other than that, I feel like crap today, I have a wicked headache and a bit of an upset stomach. I hope I'm not coming down with anything, I hate being sick.
 
Monday night: feeling like hell is good for one thing, and one thing only: not eating. I had a bowl of cereal this morning, some rice after school, and some mac and cheese for dinner. In all about 1150 calories. I feel hungry still, I just don't want to eat.

I hope I feel better tomorrow.
 
Mornin Sweetie. Hope you are feeling better today. I know how you felt yesterday I was hungry all day, but you did real good on calories. Keep it up Hon. You are doing awesome.

Tuesday morning check in: I didn't get a chance to eat breakfast this morning, so I grabbed a cheap slice of pizza at school - 670 calories. It should do me well until the next meal. I don't want to call it "dinner" because it'll be at like 3, but it'll probably be my last meal of the day, or at least until I get home from work at about midnight. I work in one of the crappiest malls in the city, and all the places in the food court are closed by 5:30, and I definitely won't be hungry then.

I also went through just over 3L of water yesterday (approx 100oz).

I mentioned it a couple pages back, but we're going to the premier of the new Harry Potter movie, and then going out for drinks and bowling! Serious funnage.

For lunch/dinner I went out with my friend to a generic asian restraunt, and she ordered me some Pho - a kind of noodle soup with a lot of near-raw beef in it that supposedly is supposed to keep cooking after its served because the noodles and water are still practically boiling when they bring it out. I don't think I let it cook enough though because I felt awful about an hour afterwards. Really bad cramps and other "unladylike" functions. I seem to have gotten most of it out of my system, but I'm still getting mild cramps - not in my front though, in the back, kind of around my kidneys. I hope it goes away by the end of the night. As far as I can tell from my Calorie King, it was worth about 900 calories - it was a really big meal! Its like five hours later and I'm still not the least bit hungry so at least it was filling.

Today was a total bust, I'm sitting at like 1600 calories. Good thing I have my fiancee coming over tonight who will make sure I don't skimp on the biking.
 
1600 really got me down because I've been maintaining an intake around 1300 all week, and had even gotten as low as 1100 a couple days. today is a new start though! So far just bacon and eggs for breakfast. I've really been craving veggies the past couple days so I think I'll make myself a nice veggie snack plate once I get home.

4 day weekend starting tomorrow!!
 
Dear Diary, sorry I have been neglecting you!! I'm getting back on track now!

Yesterdays intake was some eggs and toast (400), a peanut butter and banana sandwich (500), a cherry strudel (200), caesar salad and chicken parmigana (300), and some dry ribs (400)... total around 1800, plus 45 minutes of biking which is -500. So a net of 1300, which i guess is okay, but I've been trying to get less than 1500 BEFORE biking. Sigh.

Today is going better. A half-bowl of carrots and ranch dressing (250), a peanut butter and honey sandwich (350) and a mandarin orange (50). Total of about 850 so far today, and I'll be having dinner in a few hours. Looks like chicken.
 
Update before I go to bed: First of all, I can't add. 350+250+50=650, not 850.

Anyways, I had two and a half chicken drumsticks for dinner and a cup of mixed veggies, about 355 together... so I finished today around 1000 calories, and even got in a light bit of biking (only 20 minutes and it was really slow because I was playing a game at the same time, so about 150 burned)

I'm happy with today, but it makes me wonder how I was able to control myself all day... I barely even thought about eating, except when I was truly hungry. Maybe its because I was keeping myself busy with things that I was just able to turn off my mind for, like tv and video games, instead of keeping an active mind at school and work, but neither completely occupy my mind so I have lots of space to daydream and think... about food.

Well I work tomorrow, so I guess we'll see if I can do it again!
 
Oh my goodness my pants are so tight today! At first I thought it was because I just washed them, but its already 1:30 and they're still pinching a little. Not like normal either. Usually when they've shrunk a little in the wash, its around my hips and butt, but this is all on my waist. I've even loosened my belt a little to help, but its not :(

I'm wondering if I'm at "that time of the month" and just retaining, but I can't tell, because the birth control I'm on (depo provera) makes it so I don't get my period anymore, and I've totally lost track of when its supposed to be without that bright red reminder.
 
Monday weigh in... sigh, didn't lose any weight this week. I'm stepping up my efforts this week, and completly abolishing junk food! I know I said that last week, but I had a couple of weak moments, so I'm starting over again. I'm broadening my definition of 'junk food' to anything that comes premade.

So Chef Boyardee? You ain't cookin' for me no more.

Had some carrots for breakfast with ranch dressing ... 200 (the dressing is most of it, but I just can't eat the carrots plain)
Lunch was left over chili ... 350 (as best I can tell, I used the Wendy's chili values which is similar to what my mom makes)
I've got an apple still for a snack ... 100

I'll probably have more chili for dinner, though a larger serving, so I'll pre-estimate 500, and about 200 for another snack. About 1300 by the time I finish the day (I hope!)

Thanks for checking in guys, it was starting to get awfully lonely in here by myself ;)

I need to get back on track with writing down my foods. I've been tracking them in my head as the day goes on, but its hard to look back and see how I've been doing when its all in my head!

Today so far: 2 packs of instant sugar-free oatmeal: 300
