And success! 217! 10%!!!
Wow indeed, that is great!!!another sip of success, this morning, at 216 and 11%. Wow.
Why not! This is the right place to post pictures like that, no one here really knows who you are, and most of us share your weight problem. Certainly no one here will be judgmental. And I am sure you will look better than you think you will! Its great that you have the confidence to do something like that.I did a silly thing. I ordered a bikini. I ordered the largest size they had and It probably won’t fit yet but soon. Hoping to wear it in my 60 day pics on 9/7 if it’s not too ridiculous. It’s going to be a bit ridiculous even if it fits right, but it’ll be the best as far as seeing in pics what I’ve already lost and still have to lose. Damn all your eyes!
I'll bet it does! I think controlling or managing or anything you can do to live with cravings short of bingeing is the key to losing weight and keeping it off. It is for me anyway.Finding it easier to control my cravings, and that feels good.
Exercise helps me to control cravings too. Too much exercise has me wanting to eat anything & everything in sight. Enjoy your afternoon at the Y.I had a great walk yesterday, 2.5 miles and lots of running. Finding it easier to control my cravings, and that feels good.
Exactly LaMa — I rotate because I’ve got all the nutrients and lack imagination and sometimes the budget for frequent more diverse offerings. And damn, I like the food — currently having a love affair with ginger.Nothing wrong with rotating the same few meals over and over again as long as you get all your nutrients in! Also: good to hear that your son gets to choose whether or not he wants to walk: that´ll very likely keep him more motivated. Have fun at the gym!
Haha I hear you. I located an old bathing suit that needed mending and fixed it up. Had a great visit to the Y, I visited just to swim and soak in the hot tub. It was marvelous.Ginger is a basic in our household, along with onions & garlic.
Hmm- bathing suit with no bottom or bathing suit that's very low cut. Can you combine the two? I have a swim dress with its own leg ins & still I'm self-conscious. Well, actually I just don't go swimming when I would love to Good for you, Pam xo
The bodybuilder life!We had chicken, broccoli, and RICE.
Sadly, I don’t think the keto diet will be sustainable. I think I’m headed towards a paleo type diet instead, with lots of healthy fats and fruits and veggies. I need to do more research and I won’t be making any big changes yet. But my short term goal will be to replace the peanut butter snack with fruit. That is the type of change that would satisfy me long term. Onward and upward!Saw your post on my diary, I would not suggest giving up your keto diet just because something else works for me, or somebody else. The best diet is the one that's healthy and you can stay on. Years ago I tried a low carb diet, and it worked for me, for a while anyway. You will find your way.
Funny how something like your rice can taste so good after months of deprivation. I know that feeling.
Keep the good work, and don't let your running experience get you down. My feet and knees won't let me even think about running, so you are better off than me!
