you might want to call Walmart, or any of the jobs you would really like, and tell them, "Hi, I dropped off an application and was wondering if the manager had time to look it over yet"... .anything along the lines of that. Alot of times jobs are looking for enthusiastic people that go out of their way, instead of the job comming to them....
ANYWAY, lol, thats cool that you get to take a class for the belly dancing!

I've been going down hill. Today I put on some middle eastern music and danced for a while, and I've also been paying attention to fat calories in my diet...trying to eat as few as possible. I have no clue how I'm doing, since I'm in my period and I don't want to check until its over.

Schoolwork, exercising, and getting ready for religious ed (I help teach 5th grade at the church) and then I'm a sponsor for RCIA (right of christian initiation for adults...) which is directly after religious ed, so I'll try an e-mail as soon as possible.

Oh! I am so proud of myself! *squee* I turned down a TROLLhouse (tollhouse...trollhouse...:p) chocolate chip ice cream sandwhich! Last night, my mom and sister bought some for us, and I said they could split mine. BIG STEP. But today I was regretting having said that, and I went to the fridge to get it, and half of it was already gone, so I decided to put it back, feeling aweful. I DID IT. hooo yeah!

Well, not a great start to the day, anyways. 90 fat calories eaten already (I had a package of Austin peanut butter on cheese crackers....nothing else sounded remotly as good). BUT. I'm going to make this a good day, yessirreeebob. I'm going to drink a glass of water. And a glass of milk, and if I'm not bloated, I'll drink another glass of water. I'll take my vitamins, and my green tea extract thingit, and then....then I'll go run. Yes, I feel like a run. A short run, but a run nonetheless. Maybe I'll do some weights, too...gotta tone these flabby arms of mine. Then after that, I'll don my prettyful skirt and a tank top and I'll dance!

Also, we went to goodies the other day (ah! blind!) and I actualyl found some awesome shirts and stuff. I even bought TWO medium shirts!!!! *squee* Granted, the rest are larges and XLs...so it depends upon the style of the shirt, I guess, but still! hee! It's exciting. The one medium shirt is black with small, white polka dots, and then with elbow patches! The sleeves are long and are kind of like very small poets blouse type sleeves. It's so pretty...hehe. The other medium is like a doctor or nurse'sshirt. Simple. Blue. and i'm using it as a nightshirt.

Anyways, I shall go forth now and be good and exercise.

hey kccruz! Thanks for posting! It's great to be on your team!

Today I DID do all I said I would!! YAY! I ran/walked for ten minutes and 30 seconds (.63 of a mile) and did a little weight lifting and danced! I drank a lot of water (took my bottle with me to class) and...well, I've hardly eaten today. I had two red potatoes for dinner, I...don't think I had lunch...and I know I didn't have breakfast. I've been eating string cheese mostly....for some odd reason. OH. I had a toasted cheese sandwhich for lunch.
 
Today I believe I've started out alright.

I woke up. Played on the comp for about an hour (to wake up :p) then I scrumaged through some Liv tyler pics (darn I wish I looked like her!) and went to workout. I ran/walked .60 in ten minutes...and then I did some weight lifting, then took a shower, and put on some make up and got dressed and I feel very pretty.

To get something in my stomach before I worked out, I ate a string cheese, but nothing since then. I've had a nice bit of water (not sure how much), and I plan on drinking more.
 
Don't starve yourself hun. Remember, it will only slow down your metabolism.... Put ya in hybernation mode.... Doing very good with exercise. I wish I started exercising when I was 16/17... ooh I prb would not be where I am now if I did!

Very, very confusing...*sigh*

now, right NOW I feel like I could have a snack ,but there is only soem peanut butter snack crackers...and I don't think we've any fruit left. OH. Wait. Peaches. Canned peaches. That's what I'll have. Mmm.
 
lol!! Yup! They're my candy! Unfortunatly, I think there is only one can left...and when I eat canned peaches I usually eat the whole can...o.0 I love the juice, too, but I end up draining most of it, since it's so sugary....
 
I hate to admit this....but I hate peaches....but I like the way they feel...lol...

I don't like the fuzz a whole lot..I mean, I love it, but not when I'm eating it :p

Anyways, yesterday I ended up drinking about 40 ounces of water and a cup of hot sleepy time tea (right before I went to bed...it helps relax me...).

Yesterday I got in a few short 'spurts' of...er..hyperness, but neither lasted long, so I only ended up doing a few exercises (can't remember, for the life of me, what they were) but certainly no cardio. :( I'll try and get some in today!

Ah! my mouse died! My computer mouse, that is....I've been having issues with it for a couple of days and now it's dead...meh. Good thing lap tops do have the mouse pad thingit on the key board itself so you don't have to rely on the other mousy thing...but it's certainly an inconvienience o.0
 
my mousie died the other day too. Corless keyboard and mouse... nice to have with you pc....

Okay girl, time to put you into gear.... get on that cardio! GO GO GO!!!!
 
I hate using the laptop "mouse thing"..I suck at it!...WHat time do you go to bed..and what time do you get most of your exercising in?
 
I don't usually go on a schedule as to when I go to bed or when I exercise...it's bad, I know. I usually go to bed maybe around 10-ish...last night I went to bed at nine and fell asleep at 12.30...heh. And woke up at around nine.

Today is exciting...I'm going to get to meet Jim Caviezle! *squee* He's going to be on post at the PX, and that's only about ten minutes away...so I'm really excited. (for those who don't know, he played in The Count of Monte Christo and as Christ, in The Passion of the Christ, as well as many other movies).
 
Well...we're preparing for Hurricane Rita. Can you believe Wal-mart had NO water? OR Ice? It's very, very irritating.

We're fairly safe where we are (central texas...about 3 hours from Houston), so all we're really expecting is heavy rain and wind, and minor flooding...thankfully our house is elevated slightly on a hill, so even if the street gets flooded it'll take a lot flood up to the base of the house.

Anyways, we got some dry goods like crackers and stuff and also some fruit (peaches! nummy!) so I think we're pretty set. We're going to fill the tub with water (not drinking water, I wouldn't drink out of that tub if my life depended on it...*twitch*) and we're going to fill containers with water...ice isn't really a must, but it'd be nice to have.

Anyways, I did two miles yesterday, and I'm planning on doing a mile today. Dunno if I actually will or not...
