congrats on the job!!!! I think it's okay to celebrate with hot dogs and mac n cheese - hehehe... I won't be too hard on you buddy... but TOMORROW! boot camp sargeant is back in action!!!
 
Its alright that you didn't have the best diet day ever, no one is perfect. I think it shows great that you didn't binge anymore than that. I know if I eat one bad thing, it just catapults into 3 bad things, then 8.

Let's hope this club helps!
 
I shouldn't have had the 2 cookies yesterday, but other than that I didn't think I was too bad. Granted hotdogs & mac/cheese isn't the best....but thats what was fixed for supper when I got home! lol

Not a great food day - was BUSY and ate on the go. I ran out of shake mix and haven't had a chance to get more yet.

Herbalife dutch choc. They are really good!

It isn't easy to count out just 10 chips and walk away, but.....it is getting easier!
 
I really love the multi-grain wheat thins for a snack... you can count out 17 of them and it really is a good handful - and they taste so yummy!! if you like sunchips, you might want to give them a try.

Great job with your portions as well! Are you doing anything for exercise?
 
So far I haven't started any exercise! Shame shame shame on me!

Saturday food:

Water about 64 ounces

Lunch - went out with Hubby to Ponderosa
greensalad (but with bleu cheese dressing)
handful onion rings
mashed potatoe
fried chik (thigh)
1 taco
whole wheat roll

supper - bonfire at my mothers
2 hotdogs - cooked on sticks over the fire

The kids then had smores and I LOVE them, but I didn't even want one!

I haven't had any shake mix and haven't had a chance to get some, so I am floundering. I am trying to be good.....but it isn't easy! I also need to get exercising.

I turned in my resignation at the Sheriff Dept. I talked to someone at my other position. I am the town clerk of a small town, and we are elected so I have to submit a letter to the town council. I spoke with the chairperson yesterday, after trying to reach her for 2 days. She is NOT happy with me at all!!!!!!! I am going to meet her tonight to discuss things. She wants to try and change my mind. The new job pays $15K more per year than my town clerk job, and they offer benefits - which I do not get with the town. There is no way they can match it, or even come close. Actually I know they have no leverage in even offering me anything. It is very hard for me to leave my town clerk position, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.


This next week Thurs-Sun I will be at our annual Fair (family tradition). My family will be staying at our family camp. The Fair is a few towns away and we have a camp in that town. My whole family will be there. There is no electricity at camp and therefore no computer, then I will be out of town Mon & Tues for work, so I will be MIA for a short while. I will have shake mix by then and will have shakes for breakfast and lunch, but supper will be difficult I will make the best choices possible. I am also going to wear a pedometer and count my steps while I am there.
 
Hope everything goes well with the job/job change. Enjoy your time at the fair. My family went to the fair this weekend and had a good time. Good luck avoiding the fair food!

Had my meeting with her last night. She thinks I am making a huge mistake leaving my current position. When she first started talking it really seemed like she meant it about me, but the more I listened it wasn't about me..........it was about them. I can't be concerned with that. I need to make the best decision for me and my family. So.......I am still taking the new job!

Food yesterday - BAD BAD BAD BAD

food during the day - potato chips - was stressing out about having that meeting. 1/2 a maple walnut muffin.

supper - 2 eggs - fried - 1 on a mini whole wheat bagel with cheese - the other I just ate.

Today is a new day and I will do better!

Try to hang in there and stay calm in your new job decision making..it can be really tough & a struggle when we make big changes like that! Good luck!
 
Well I finally got 1 out of the Selectboard (town council) members to take my written resignation. Now they can start their process of replacing me. I gave them a 3 week notice so that they had 2 weeks to find someone and I would have a week to train them. I am super excited about this new change!

Tonight is my last night at the Sheriff Dept. They are sad to see me go, but they are super supportive and excited about my new career.
 
I'm so proud of you for doing something that really will make a difference in your life... both with the weightloss and with the job change... since both are happening at the same time, this must be alot going on in your life, but both are definately positive steps in the right direction.... go you!!!

You seem to be doing okay eating and drinking lots and lots of water... don't forget to exercise!!! I hope in the next two days you will find time to sweat for at least 30 minutes... whether it is simply a walk, or some workout video - whatever... it's important to get that heart pumping and get your body moving!!!
