Complete B.S Thread

oh snap! Literally, lol :p But it's ok right? you don't need it? you just need to lay off for a while due to soreness or what?

Tom, it's not a secret :p

I'm 19. If I was 12 I'd still be jailbait, Der said she wouldn't hook up with me before I turned 18.

I think I should probably send my boss some flowers or something. Turns out the only reason she was trying to wake me up was to get me to move somewhere more comfortable... to sleep some more at work.

Except I think she's one of those crazy Nu feminuts who might get mad if I do something like that for her. Maybe if I get her tickets for the Kalan Porter show at Jack Singer. I bet she likes that ****. It can't be sold out, right? I mean, come on. Kalan Porter.

I have a Wok now. That is cool. Now my stove is not hot enough. Why???

The average stove puts out 12,000 BTU's of heat.

The average stove at a Chinese food restaurant put out 150,000 BTU's of heat.

That is a big difference, and significantly changes the cooking time, therefor changing how the food turns out.

Guess it is time to get a wok burner.

:D

I have a Wok and it works perfect on a regular stove.

I would have thought the same. Having had the recent experience to use a real wok burner, I can say that the regular stove is far from perfect.

I didnt know Americanized Chinese restaraunts used woks, I thought it was all deep fried.

Not all. Only the fried stuff is deep fried. :D

A gas burner that produces between 120,000 and 150,000 BTU's of heat. Specifically used for wok cooking, where a much higher heat is needed to make more authentic food.

Here is a link with more explanation.

You bought one?

Not yet. I think I am going to get an outdoor one. That way I do not have to get a bigger exhaust fan. :D

Do you cook exclusively in a wok now?

No, I grill and BBQ a lot too. The wok thing is fast though. I use it a lot when I do not have as much time.
