Were nearly there, once we hit 10k we'll be on 1% !!!!

For all the Brits on here, what does everyone think of Man Citeh wanting to buy Kaka for £100,000,000? ($150,000,000 for all the yanks) and pay him £500,000 a week?

Great for the UK game or the death of football for the real fans?

I`m a big Man u fan,and all i can say about it is it`s a joke, nobody is worth that money, and if Milan had any sense they`d snap their hands off.

And it will most probibly bring about the death of football for the real fans.

I also read that he`s gonna have clause`s in his contract stating that Robhinio must not be sold and they have to be playing Champions league within 2 years:rofl:

Add Ronaldo for a further £100m and I bet they'll be in the Champions league the year after next. Man U never turn down massive offers

The thing is, for people like me that support a small team like Millwall, it kinda kills the dream of being able to graft our way to the top like Notts Forrest in the 80's. We know we'll be stuck in the lower leagues forever; you could sell all our players, stadium, training ground and pimp out the tea lady for a year and still not raise £100m; how the **** are we supposed to ever compete with that

You can`t and it is a sad truth, and it`ll keep getting worse.

IMO the FA should get of there fat arses and do something about it,maybe impliment a wage cap, ticket price cap or even a transfer cap.

At least as a Millwall fan you can condole yourself that a few years ago you reached the FA cup final, that must have brought much needed revinue.

I do`nt agree 100% with the fact that you`ll always be in the lower leagues just look at Stoke and Hull. Even Gillingham narrowly missed out on promotion a few years back in a play off final against Man city.

The hard bit is not getting up but spending the extra cash wisely and staying up.

I heard Real, were going to offer 105 mil for Ronaldo. Not sure whats happening.

But its mad money, i hope man city get relegated :D Would be funny LOL

i see a much bigger problem in all of this, this is the kind of thing that doesn't happen only in football. It's the principle of global and liberal economy. Just like Millwall will be playing in it's own championship (no way it can compete with Manch U, Aresenal or Chelsea), what we are seeing all over the world is the creation of a mini-world for the privileged. The rest of us will have to live in incertainty, long hours of work, the ghost of unemployment, etc. All for the rich bastards to get even richer (besides being a bunch of bastards, they are all a bunch of corrupt CS as we have been seeing)

We all should know what free economy and liberal policies lead to, that's all in South America history, on the 70's (Chile, the military juntas in Uruguay, Brazil, etc), Katrina, Iraq, etc. But the politicians and the UE (France and Germany are waking up, but this is Barroso's policy) insists that this is the way to go. Blair still say that this is a good thing for developing countries, for example. It isn't, and you just have to turn on the TV on the news to realize that. I would probably also defend this ideas if I was on the money's end.

We are all screwed and in need of some old revolution. I say we revive the french revolution and cut some noble's heads. :violent2:

F***ing hell pass me the shotgun.

I think you require my middle muscle.

I've always wanted one of those things, although I doubt I'd ever leave the house. I'd be playing with it all day ... :p

Are you an active or passive gay?

I think that depends on who is in bed with me ... ;)

Which one? Anyone famous?

Damn I'm bored, the last 40 minutes before the weekend :D

Sure ... let's see ... I think today I'll be Levi Poulter. He seems to have a pretty decent life going on :D

What do you Brits have planned for your weekend?

PS - Still have 4 hours left here in the Midwest U.S. :(
