Food prices are going up around the world

Is it just me, or am I the only one who thinks burning food for fuel is the stupidest idea?

ooh can I get in on the alternative energy debate? I work on buildings with this technology right now. Its a total farce, no one knows how to install it, no one knows how to operate it. Its 3 times the cost of a typical system.

The dumbasses have to make it more feasible for it to be implemented. Building owners don't want to pay that much more for a system that is over complicated and a hassle to install. We've got a long way to go before any of this technology will be mainstream. The reason more dollars aren't thrown at R & D for various products and systems is because of politics.

You watch when we reach a total crisis some energy conglomerate will suddenly emerge as the hero and save the world making billions more dollars.
the techonlogy is there it just needs to be fine tuned.

Some of it is quite exciting actually.
