Club... 250-300?

I started my weekly weigh in yesterday and I was down a little, this morning again, so if this sticks I should be down a bit when I do my Wednesday averaging. Not anything like last week's 4 lbs, but down is good.

Kyle, 1.5 lbs per week is a great long term trend!

@alligatorob Good for you! I hope you see some results this week. Weight not going down for me this week. On the other hand I can literally see and feel my breast size decreasing, and it's really nice because I can wear all these shirts that have been in my closet for a while.

I am down to 267; 3 lbs this week.

Last week I was down 4 lbs, so 7 lbs in 2 weeks. I can't figure out that I am doing anything differently but that's a lot faster than my longer term average, after losing 4 lbs last week I was not expecting this. Could just be a part of the usual ups and downs played out over a little longer time. One thing that is changing is that as I lose weight I am getting more active, doing more work in the yard and generally exercising more, not planned exercise just moving more. I suppose that could be part of it.

No matter why I am headed for the clubhouse door, only 17 lbs to go and I'll be out of this place!

Wow! I am so inspired! That's a beautiful result! I think I could afford to be a bit more active too. I want to start taking little runs in the afternoon. I did running in high school and I liked it. So I know it's something I can enjoy. I am already eating like a saint. So I know a little more activity is all I need.

My weight is down to 268.6, which is a record for this weight-loss period. In stead of taking short runs, I am starting a few minor tweeks to my eating, which I am confident will help with my insulin and insulen resistance. In turn, I hope my weight loss will be a little steadier from now on.

Hey @alligatorob . I was inspired by your great results to change something up. I started intermittant fasting (skipping breakfast for me) because of the science I just read about "insulin resistance" in the book The Obesity Code. I tried it one day, and the results I saw hooked me in. It has been a real game changer so far. My weight is stabilizing and going down at and even rate. I am now down to 265.2. Honestly the morning hunger is a little distracting, but the only difference now is I skip my morning coffee with non-dairy creamer (full of corn syrup). I used to occasionally eat a small snack in the morning, which I am also stopping.

Impressive progress Kyle, good for you.

Its Monday and I started my 3 day weigh in average. I am down a little, but nothing like my 7 lbs over the past 2 weeks. I will be fine with whatever the outcome, I know where I am headed!

Hi. I can't wait to see your weigh-in results.

Tuesday, day 2 in my weigh in process. I am again down a little, but not a lot. We'll see what Wednesday brings, no matter the result I am sure I'll be happy.

Kyle, you may get to the clubhouse door before me, if you do leave it open, I'm coming!

Well my weight jumped up again to 266, despite not eating the breakfast. I had a substantial dinner last night. So it's understandable my weight jumped up. I am going to try a "24 hour" fast today as I read it can be very good for you, meaning I will skip lunch and just eat dinner.

Kyle, looks like we are tied again, I am also at 266. Down just one this week, but given my rapid loss over the two previous weeks I am happy, and even one pound down is the right direction.

Lets get out of this place!

That's a good point. You can't just always be losing lots of weight. It's a bumpy road.

Is it just me or does life get less stressful the less overweight you are? Is it related to the body's ability to obsorb cortozone, the stress hormone? Not sure, just a thought. Something stressful happened the other day, buymt I recovered much faster from the stress than I usually do.

Interesting thought, Kyle. I went and looked cortisone up on the internet, and it seemed to me that most of the research (this was a very quick look!) has been about the use of cortisone as treatment, not about how it works in an ordinary body, outside of that. The whole science of bodies and how they work still has oceans to explore, I'm sure.

Is it just me or does life get less stressful the less overweight you are?
Absolutely, for me just eating right reduces my stress, and as I lose weight even more so. For me the stress reduction has as much or more to do with eating right than the weight loss. If I can resist bingeing and get a good day's food in my stress goes way down. For me I think most of my stress is and has been a product of my overeating. Not sure about the cortozone thing, but I know little about it. I didn't even know a stress hormone existed, but it kind of makes sense. No matter the underlying cause I can tell you my stress levels are down since starting this diet.

Hey! Good news. I reached 259 today! I am really excited about this benchmark. Been over 260 for a few years! I feel like I'm a few years younger now! Kkkkk.
Hey Kyle you are leaving me in the dust! And that's great.

Just leave the door cracked a bit on your way out.
