Club 200 Plus

Yeah!

It is definitely the healthiest gift I will have ever received, as far as gifts are concerned. But it will be gratifying none the less to see the results of that hard work.

Good luck on your goal, I'm sure you will make it or feel satisfied with your results.

:)

To my pleasant surprise I hopped on the scale today to find I have already lost the 2 lbs I had aimed for.

Everything else I achieve this week is bonus, and I like this kind of bonus.

I picked up a bicycle today and I am very satisfied with my purchase. I had a stationary bike but to go out and ride around seems more gratifying honestly sometimes, and I have the stationary for when the weather is unforgiving.

All in all a great way to start the week, hope everyone else has a good week in store as well.

Have fun with that! Exercise is always better when its FUN!!!

True!

Have fun with that! Exercise is always better when its FUN!!!

Exercise is certainly something I look forward to more when I am enjoying it, when it becomes routine it becomes brushed under the rug and forgotten. The mission is to keep it from becoming routine!

So far so good though. :)

Another day another bit of progress.

Well I weighed in yesterday at 214, putting me down 1 lb from the day before.

Hard work and a lifestyle change do well to transform a person. I feel better, and I feel as though I can keep going all the way to and through my goal. It is exciting!

Though as a side note I woke up this morning and had some kind of kink in my neck and it feels like someone punched me in the neck. I may have just slept odd or something but it's sore! Hope it doesn't deter my progress for the day.

Hope everyone is having a good week!

How's everyone doin?

Well we have passed the half-way point of the week, how's everyone been doing?

The kink in my neck yesterday didn't hault my progress any and I still managed to get in my routine on the Bowflex. I ended up attending a birthday party and there was cake and I passed on it completely without a second thought. It looked good but I didn't really want any anyway. I have convinced my brain to stay away from such things completely, and it seems to be working out.

I will weigh in a little later today and drop another update as to what the scale has in store for me.

I'm doing alright, I'm just maintaining but plan on working out today or a while and then on saturday for as long as possible too. So hopefully on sunday morning I'll at least be down another pound. Good job keeping on track, Timmy!

hi timmy!
i'm doing good on my plan. started june 26 with 98lbs of body fat and now i'm down to 86lbs!!!

i'm very exceited and should be saying bye bye to you guys in the club any day now. can't say i'll miss the 200's but i will miss you guys!

but i need to get below 185 to be out of the obesity range. that'll be my next goal.

Friday!

Well at least it is Friday and there is a weekend to look forward to.

----------------------------------
@18% - Yeah, I'm sure all of us want to move ourselves out of this club, but not to leave the people behind. It is nice to be associating with like-minded people with similar struggles. It's cute when hollywood tries to tell us how to lose weight by showing us uber models cut from stone but that isn't reality. lol. Glad to hear your goals are coming along keep up the good work!

@cameraobscura - My weekend involves a lot of planned exercise as well! Two days of uninterrupted progress in my opinion. Best of luck in your exercise and successful weekend.
----------------------------------

As for my results yesterday, I maintained 214 another day. I believe I may be down today on the scale but we will see later on today. I had a great day in terms of exercise though, full strength routine with full weight and reps, and rode both my stationary bike and regular bike for a total of 8 miles.

On top of that, I was wearing a T-shirt I haven't wore in years because it always felt too tight but yesterday I tried it on and it felt like normal. Felt like a great success. :)

If I don't report back for anything, everyone have a nice weekend and try to be at least a little productive before you relax.

Well it's a new week everyone!

Anyone have any goals they are trying to achieve for this week? Personally I am just trying to shed a couple pounds.

I picked up a Bowflex this weekend for a steal and worked out on it for the first time yesterday. Definitely a cool machine! It will work if I can stick to it. :)

A buddy of mine took up riding a bike so I'm considering getting into that as well to add additional cardio.

Hope everyone has a nice week, and let's make some headway!

My goal for this week is to lose two pounds. I'll get to my first mini-goal.

I love bike-riding. I had a c-section 6 weeks ago so I'm waiting for the doc to give me the okay on doing that and as soon as he does I'm off.....:cheers2:

My initial goal has been met!!
I am now under 200!!!
:cheers2:

Next Goal out of obesity range:
under 185lbs
Possibly by mid-August!

Good luck to everyone here!! If I can do it so can you!Bye :waving:

Thanks very much! It feels so great to be in this club. I know a lot of people are trying to get out of it, but I think this'll end up being my home :D

This week.

Howdy everyone!

How is everyone doing this week on their goals? I've been working out like a mad man since work is slow right now. I've rode 20 miles on my stationary bike Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and plan on hopping on again today and tomorrow. In addition I've also got in two full routines on my Bowflex, and have only felt a little weak at one point.

To top it all off, I have kept under 1,600 calories every day, further increasing my good feelings. I believe my target calories for weight loss are closer to 2,400, but I figure at 1,600 I am rarely feeling hungry, and I am accelerating my weight loss even more. As long as I am comfortable in that calorie range I'm going to keep it up!

My weight has been teeter-tottering but the general track keeps it going down over the long-term so I will say everything is working out just fine. Wednesday was a month since I began my journey and I was down 19 pounds from when I started. The loss hasn't quite leveled out into the "healthy" range, but I figure soon enough it will.

Hope everyone is doing well this week, and staying motivated!
