Club 200 Plus

Why is it so hard to work out with an adult life? I'm slowly losing but its not as quick as I'd like because I'm not working out. My plan is to be out of the 200's by the end of this month. 15 lbs to go, I think I can do it. I neeeeeeeeed to force myself to get to the gym.

Hey everyone! I too am a member of the 200 club but, no offense, I'm looking forward to leaving ASAP. lol :D I'm about 230 right now. My goal is around 150ish lbs or a size 8/10.

I'm married with two kids. I have to force myself because I certainly don't have the time.

Just hit 208 btw. Almost there!

Congrats, AprilFool! I bet it felt awesome to see the 1 in front of the numbers instead of the 2. :D

I weighed in at 229 this AM, so still a ways to go, but at least it's headed in the right direction! lol

Congratulations!!!

Must feel great to break through 200!
I know it's just a number, but it's such a big, round, number. :)

Well done.

I'm down another pound and a couple ounces today!! I'm SO close to breaking 210. I'm almost able to fit into my first set of goal jeans. :hurray:

How is everyone doing?

I was at 212 last week. Ate too much, now at 214.
But I tried on the bridesmaids dress that I am wearing to my cousin's wedding in September and I fit into a size 16! Woohoo!

Hell, that size dress is way smaller than what I wore to my friends Quincenera when I was 14 years old and my Jr. Prom dress.

The size 16 was a little snug on my chest... but I think it's because of my boobs, wearing a push up bra, and I think I have a slightly wide back because I don't think I have much back fat.

Congrats AprilFool!! Good luck on the rest of your journey!

Hope to be joining you soon at the next level :)

You're not complaining about big boobs are you?

Hey everyone,
Checking in for my weekly weigh in. Last thursday I was 297.0... this thursday I weighed in at 293.8. I knew after the initial weight loss on my 1st week that the next week would be slow, but I am kind of disappointed with all the work I have done to have only lost 3.2 lbs. Especially since I have so much to lose.

I have a challenging weekend ahead of me as my family and I are going to visit my parents... I find it is harder to maintain healthy eating outside of my own environment, and mom loves to cook...Mom knows about my healthy eating and is all excited to fix me healthy stuff, so that is good.

With my new diet I have been having some "tummy regularity" problems if you get my meaning... which is weird because I am eating more Fiber and Ruffage than I have for years. I have a pain deep in my tummy. Anyone have similar situation when you started your new diet?... kind of frustrated to eat nothing but good stuff and be bloated.

I have made a goal of 290.0 for next thursday...

I am going to post my regular menu and can you please give feedback on what I should add/take away or opinions etc.
-------------------------------------------------

Breakfast 0800 AM- Hard boiled egg/Banana/Bowl of whole wheat cereal -- also take a fish oil and multi-vitamin

Lunch 11-12- Turkey Sandwich on whole wheat bread with lettuce-tomato-sandwich cheese/ serving of low fat cottage cheese / serving of Baked Doritos/ Cup of skim Milk

Snack 2-3- One of the following) Cereal bar or heart healthy Nuts or "no Pudge brownie" or 100 calorie pack - or fruit cup- or Raisins or Yogurt

Dinner 5-6- Baked Fish or similar lean meat small portion -Baked potato/ Salad w/ light dressing - Cup of Skim milk.

Snack 8-9- One of the following) Cereal bar or heart healthy Nuts or "no Pudge brownie" or 100 calorie pack - or fruit cup- or Raisins or Yogurt

I drink approximately 100 ounces of water a day and workout daily. My workout is a one mile run (under 10 minutes) and or 6 mile bike ride or 10 minutes on a stepper-- followed my some medium lifting

Any Comments are welcome and appreciated. I hope you all have a safe and great weekend.

I have been having some of the same "issues" recently No pain but with all of the Fruits, vegetables and whole grains that I eat I assumed things would be more "regular". I am going on week 13 and this just started about 2 weeks ago. Nothing serious but kinda of a minor inconvenience. Beginning of diet was fine (I never had issues when I ate poorly). I guess that everybody's body is different.
Great job so far on your weight loss. We are about the same weight.

just checking in

Hey everyone. Well things are going good. I started trying to lose this weight (AGAIN) when I received the letter from the NHS saying that funding had been accepted for the gastric band Last thursday. I am determined to get this weight off myself and not putting myself through surgery and lifetime upkeep of something tied around my stomache that basically forces me to eat very little instead of healthily which is how I want to be. Healthy and happy! So jumped on the Wii fit thoursday to find I am 4 pounds down! I am excited but we will see what next week brings.
I just wanted to say to Bigguy, don't get discouraged with your small number last week. 3 pounds is excellent and is at a rate which you can maintain to keep the weight off for good. So don't be like me and use it as an excuse to eat, out of anger and frustration and things not feeling worth it. It is worth it! Let me know how you get on this week and stay motivated!!

Hey, Big Guy.

3.2 lbs in a week is a very respectable amount of loss. Don't feel bad about it at all. It's great. Your first week's big loss was mostly water.

Your target of 290 for next week seems pretty reasonable, but remember that you are in this for the long haul. Don't let your short-term goals discourage you if they don't work out. I mean, is it going to be awful if you lose 3 pounds this week instead of 4? Of course not - it's going to be awesome.

As for your diet, it seems pretty reasonable.
If it were me I would eat fewer processed and prepackaged foods, and replace them with more unprocessed stuff. But that's me.

Hey guys and gals, just checking in.

Back from my weekend trip away. I kept my diet going very well. Portion control and smarter choices, no snacking. All of my family was very supportive. We grilled out one night and I had chicken instead of a big steak (like my dad)... etc, etc, etc
I did not get any "running" in but I took my nephews fishing and ran after them, walked 18 holes of golf, and spent an afternoon doing yard work... So I got some exercise.
Thank you very much for all your kind and supportive words. Hope you all had/are having a great weekend... :seeya:

I weighed in at 225.5 today. Slooowly but surely it's coming off. :)

On Friday, I leave on vacation for a week. Not gonna lie, I'm a little nervous! But I've developed a real taste for salads lately, so hopefully it won't be too hard to keep on track eating-wise. Wish me luck! :p

Hey everybody!
I'm new to the thread. I started out at 250 in the beginning of March and I'm down to 225, give or take a pound depending on the time of day and how much clothes I have on, lol. I work at a gym and I finally started taking advantage of that. I take 3 classes 3 times a week. Body Pump, Body Combat, and Zumba. They are awesome! If you come across them you should try it out. I was told that Body Combat burns between 500 and 700 hundred calories in one class. I also started eating healthier. It's super hard. I sneak some of my son's cheeseballs sometimes. I even ate Chinese yesterday, which I'm totally regretting cause I gained a pound. But anywoo, hope ya'll are doing well.

Hello

205, 5'7 41 y/o.
I would like to drop 50 lbs in 11 weeks. I understand that is 4 lbs a week and is not optimum, but I have already made up my mind. I just don't know how to do it. Can anyone reccomend a diet, program or Anything that will bring me closer to this goal? Thank you so much for your support!:willy_nilly:
