The scales where unkind to me this morning.. I have put back 2 lbs. Its this gloom I was stuck in this week. Ive not been eating right and Ive not been doing my bike or walking...

My wish: I want a little man, who will ride on my shoulder and whisper in my ear, and tell me what to do, if I dont do what he says, he can zap me in the neck or something... a weight management Elf! Thats what I want... a little magic fairy who makes me do what I am supposed to do. :coolgleamA:
 
Hellooo everyone...I have been trying to keep myself busy and off this computer and my ass LMAO!!! The jogging is going good and i am .2 from losing 5lbs...im so happy and my calves are hurting but hey that's a great thing!! LOL

Slim: o i understand, They had a weight loss group and a few of us just started a page to give eachother support and blog :) Dont beat your self up about that bday party ..just have fun and pace yourself!!

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't updated since Thursday or so.

I did awful at that party. I've actually been doing pretty badly (to my standards). UGH. We'll see at the weigh-in.

How's everyone else?
 
Hey everyone! I just got back from vacation (up in Illinois) and discovered that I had only gained less than 2 pounds. That's great news considering I did VERY badly up there. It's kind of hard to get back in the groove of eating right... I had a milkshake yesterday (at least it was small) and a slice of horribly decadent chocolate cake today:drool5:. Sheesh...


I am currently one and a half pounds from my lowest weight in this whole ordeal... So I guess I can't complain.

How are you guys doing? I noticed that no one's posted since the third. Pick it up people!

Hi, I am in the 200 range...for the last 5 years or so. I am a 20 year old guy who is 228, and is looking to get down to at least 180. :waving: I have been wanting to lose weight for a long time but have kept myself ignoring it somehow. Hopefully on board for good! How much do you guys and girls aim to lose per week? Where should I set my sights?

In other news, I'm still 232 pounds. Still. The song "Always and forever" just popped into my head, although I know that's not how it'll be. I'll just give myself 7 days of doing well with the calorie level I'm at, then reduce it if I'm stilllll 232. Grr... !
 
Anyone mind if I join? I'm male (as you may be able to tell from my pic!) and 5'8". My starting weight was 311lbs and I currently weigh 229lbs.

I am a member of weight watchers and, for psychological reasons (!), don't own a weighing scales so I get weighed once a week and will post the results up here (though if anyone's interested in my progress until now it's in the weight loss table section).

I hope to be under 200 hundred some time within the next three months, but we'll see how it goes.

I guess that's everything. I get weighed on Mondays so I guess I'll report back then.
 
Well I'm down 1lb this week. Kind of disappointing if I'm 100% honest but down is down.

Not going to get discouraged just yet though. Had a change in my routine this last week - finally back in the gym after some time off from having my gallbladder removed - so my body will take a while to adjust to that again. I figure that my lower amount of weight loss is due to maintaining more lean muscle than when I couldn't work out, or not eating enough after my workouts and my metabolism slowing. Hopefully it's the former, I don't mind a drop in weight loss as long as fat is being burned. Either way, I'll figure it out through trial and error, as always.

Im hoping to be out of the 200's soon but i just found this thread dang it.

I'll be here for a couple weeks prob though...
