Club 200 Plus

The thought of losing 5 pounds makes me upset cause it doesn't even put a dent in the massive amount of wt I have to lose. but then I think hey, maybe 5 lbs lost is better then 5 lb gained. slow but sure I guess. I think we all could use motivation and friendship to shed a few lbs. Deb in Toronto.;)

I used to think that way too, but every pound...every ounce..is a step towards your ultimate goal. Think of it as drips of water. If you put a glass under a tap to catch a drip, you will eventually have to dump out a full glass of water. It wasnt fast, it was a slow and steady small amount, that ended with a big result.
Take the best of care and give yourself praise for every little step forward and realize we are here if you happen to take a step back
Michelle :)

wow nice!

My weight seems to be stagnating somewhat - maybe its just me - i dunno. I just feel like ive been at this weight for a while (even though i havnt)
I cant wait to get down to one-derland

Can I still join the club???

I hope so, I have just joined these forums, I weighed in monday at 253, so definatly in the 200's range. I am hoping to get into the 170's and re-access then.

Sorry, don't mean to sound rude, but there is already a club for those of us in the 200s that are trying to get out of them. Maybe we could all get together on us and provide each other support. The other thread is "heading 4 and reaching the 100s."

I kind of like just 200 club......and I'm game

ok I'm 210 down from 298....these last 10 have been the worst to loose...but the 100's are calling my name!!!! i wanna get there!!!! so i shall!!! later STAR

Checking back in to the 200+ club. If I had stuck around I might have been able to move on from this club by now- but I will just have to rededicate myself this time. Hope you guys still want me back!

we're all changing our lives here, so i'm sure it's okay that you've come back and a super welcome back to you, as well!!! just tell yourself your gonna do it for good and you will. you've come to the right board for motivation, that's for sure! :)

may i join....

my name is aimie. i am 30 years old... mother of 2 boys billy is 6 matthew is 18 months. i started on my jouney just 15 days ago... 1-1-2007 a new year and a renewed sense of self worth. i come from a long line of family with heart problem and diabetes and i do not want to go down that road my mother had a heart attack at 42 and she is thin and healthy (or so we thought till then). i started at 256 on 1-1-2007 and just weighed in at 247. i am so excited. i am doing it on my own and on top of it all. my ds who is 6 is over weight and because of the healthy meals i have been making for the family he is down 2 pounds still over weight but losing in a healthy way. that makes me feel even better!!! not only that i am getting healthy but it is affecting my family in such a positive way. look forward to meeting and getting to know everyone on here and reaching our goals together!!!

Welcome mcphee! It's always nice to have the whole family jumping on board- isn't it? We are pretty close in the weight we're starting out with here. Let me know if you ever need support (or a kick in the butt) - I'd be more than happy to help!

Hi everyone, :)
May I join too?
My highest weight ever was 130kg (286 lbs) a couple of years ago.
On the 14th of this month, a friend challenged me to lose 2 kg (4.4 lbs) per week, which I agreed to, in the short term; however, I realize it is not healthy to sustain such a loss continuously. Eventually, I will aim for a 1/2 - 1 kg (1.1 - 2.2 lbs) weightloss per week.
I started tracking my weightloss on the 15th of January; and yesterday I weighed myself; I have lost 4kgs (8.8lbs).
I look forward to getting to know you all better; and look forward to supporting you all in your respective journey's.
Best wishes,
Elizabeth-Rose

 Hi

I just thought that maybe some of you feel the same way as I do about the long journey that we have ahead of us. I know that loosing weight is a struggle no matter how little or how much you have to loose but I thought that those of us in the 200's might have a little something in common.

So if anyone is interested I would like to start a club for us.

I am late but I am joining :(

Been around 200 most of my life.

Being 6'2 and a guy, the low 200's are not that bad for me health wise but 250+ is terrible :(

hey everybody, i was part of this club a while back i think, and i am back for the long haul! lol. I hope to stick around this time. :)

im sorry T&E, but you cant just leave unless you go above 300 or below 200! lol

Im on 201.9 !!! im hopeing to be out of it this week :D
