Club 200 Plus

Wishes - great going on the kms.....mmmm your fear of a decimal point is most telling:)

BWM - good luck with your weigh in.

Miss K - you're up to 3 mile walks wow! great going! You'll be doing that triathlon in no time!!

My Kms for today are 11.5kms ( 1.5 on eliptical trainer and 10 cycling) brings our distance remaining to:
1484.67kms

Thanks aussiechick :D

And thats just my warm up/cool down , i went easy on the rowing today though - it gets a bit boring and i run out of time some mornings.

Updated Kms

OK, its official, I am a gym junkie:) I went for a second session at the gym once I'd picked the children up from preschool/school. Luckily on a Friday evening the gym has childminding between 4.30pm and 5.30pm, so I did 25 minutes cardio and the rest resistance training.

So I'll deduct another 11km from our distance to bring it to:

1473.67kms

Actually I think I've hit a plateau, no weight loss this week so I'm going to try to increase the intensity of my cardio workouts over the next couple of weeks to see if that makes a difference.

Have a great weekend everyone:)

Good morning ladies

charlotte

Thanks AussieChick,

that is one of my long term goals to get to that triathlon.

Another 3 miles for me today or 4.83 kms.

TOTAL: 1468.84

I weighed myself this morning....and im at 268! I've been weighing myself about every 2 weeks. Do you guys think this is too often?

no!
I weigh in about 4 times a week, some people every day (I just do it when i go to the gym - bit of a habit).
Once a week would be a normalish time. If you do it most days like me you need to remember that other things have an effect and you can fluctuate a bit over that week.
I only update my ticker and do official weight on tuesdays

5km done on the rowing machine. I left early because i was running outta time with the intetion of riding on the exercycle at home to make it up only to find the exercycle needs new batteries.

Total is now: 1437.44kms

Hi Everyone,

I have now changed my work out plan, so the amount of miles I'm walking has gone down.

3 days a week I do a strength training circuit of exercises and 2 miles at a slow pace.
3 days a week I walk 3.5-4 miles at 3.5 mph for 5 minutes, then run for 1 minute and alternate throughout.
1 day a week is my endurance walk - this week I'm up to a little over 7 miles in one shot and next week, it will be over 8 miles.

So this week I'll only get 25 miles instead of last week's 33.3 miles, but I'm hoping that the circuit training excercises and the intensity walk will boost my speed. I really want to get to a 15 minute mile.

Since I last posted, I have walked 17.8 miles (28.48 kms).
Which brings our total to...
1405.16

I don't think I have posted on the 220 lb. plus club in two weeks. Its great to be back. The first week I just did not feal like posting or running. Then last week I was sick (my wife thinks I'm a big baby when I get sick). When you are at deaths door your wife should not be making fun of you. So I'm back, think God I lived through my sickness. Not totally well but got back to my running. I did 2 miles (3.2 KMS). I promised my wife 2 miles is all I would run.

All you guys have doing incredible on your workouts.

2 Miles (3.2 KMS) / 24:37

Chip

Chip - it's good to see you back and well!

And not to side with your wife or anything, but every man I have ever known has been a big baby when they're sick!

Death's door not withstanding ;)

kms for today

Kms today - 11.6kms (1.4 eliptical/10.2 bike) our new total including tman's 3.2kms is: 1390.36kms

Tman - good to see you back. Hate to tell you this but every wife has a husband who is a big baby when sick.......must be something to do with not having the PAIN OF CHILDBIRTH as a point of reference:D :D

M2M - great looking workout. My workout has changed also, I'm doing higher intensity workouts for shorter periods. My resistance training has also increased in intensity this week. You'll find interval training is a great way to improve your fitness level.

AC - you're right about the resistance training :D I bought some weights today to go with the circuit exercises I'm doing! Let me know how your change works for you!

Hi lonestarsanta - we're walking (running, cycling, surfing, MOVING) from Banff to Winipeg :)

Just keep track of the distance you've gone in kilometers and deduct them from the last posted total.

I went 4 miles today (6.4 kms) the first 2 miles I walked at 3.5 mph for 4 minutes, then ran 1 minute the last 2 miles I walked at 3.5 mph.

Our new total is...
1383.96
