Club 170s

I'm in at 171 or 170 lbs today :)

Not sure exactly which number to trust but it was all at 77 kg!!! ( got 77.3,77.2,.4,.6,.8 I try to always triple check my weight...)

In a few days I should be in the 60's!!! Only a couple hundred grams to lose, not even a kilo :blush5:

And I'm back here, and very glum about it - not so much for the weight, as for what it says about me, and how environment-dependent I am - the more so because soon I'll be back in food-desert-land, where fresh things are hard to get, and even more so in these Is your journey really necessary? times.
 
Hey there! I am in the middle of the 70s club and have been working hard on making it to the 60s! Thank you aiminglow for directing me here! This should be an exciting journey! :)
 
I haven't weighed myself yet so I'm not sure if I belong here or over in the 160s. That means I'm a Schrödinger's member and get to visit either club, right? Either way: welcome Nick!

Yes, it will be! I'm going to borrow some of your motivation to get myself started once again. I'm not even wanting to face the scales today, but it's time for me to up and at 'em. I know I'm up, and back here in the 170 Club, but like you, I'm wanting to be down and out - that is, down in weight and out the door into the 160s!
Hmmm... first tactic, for me, is to give myself a week with no biscuits, cakes, sweets, or ice-cream. Just a week, Monday to Monday. I know I can manage that. :) What tactic will you be trying?

Today, a butterless breakfast! It was banana, apple and yoghurt - the bananas won't last, so they'll be featuring fairly prominently over the rest of this week.
 
Ah! I should´ve bought a banana as well yesterday... Now that I´m able to eat small apples (in allergy season even!) I thought I´d start desensitizing myself to bananas but I completely forgot. Butter would probably have been weird in your breakfast, by the way :p
 
Disappointingly, I'm exactly the same weight today as yesterday, and still, at 172, firmly in this Club. :(

I do really like that stuff, though, when I can find something to put it on (which is all too easy).
 
Reminds me of some keto folk putting butter in their coffee because it has fewer carbs than milk.
 
Well. Here I am still, and yes, I've had butter this morning. :(
171 lbs, which is down, a bit, but I want to do better than I am doing - I want to be in there, where the cool kids are, in the 160s Club!

Okay, just went and put the butter in the freezer. Making it that little bit less available will surely help! Less available, and less attractive, being all hard and chunky, not smooooth and spreadable.

Now... what can the 170s Club have for a focus these days? For a while we had Fruit of the Month, which I enjoyed very much. Maybe a focus on tactics? I guess putting the butter in the freezer was a start. :)
