Chillen and Wes: Shaping the Future

Im feeling run down today. This is usually how i feel before i get sick so i decided (it took a lot of convincing) to not workout today.

I still have to work so its not like i wont be doing anything physical. I just hope i dont get sick again.

Sorry to hear that Wes. What do you "feel" like? Lethargic, no energy, head ache, sickly, what?

Do not feel bad about missing a workout (I know you don't make a habit of it when you do feel well), so missing this one workout isn't going to make or break your potential progress.

Ya its not missing a workout that im pissed off about. Its that i might be sick again for the 3rd time in a month or so. Ive been eating blueberries, strawberries, apples oranges, spinach etc and taking echinacea, vitman c, vit e, vit b, vit a and 3 mineral tabs every day. Ive also been getting sun 4 times a week at least. I dont know what else to do. If i do get sick again im going to try to get my immune system tested like you suggested.

Hopefully it passes and im feeling better tomorrow. :)

If you are developing an "uncommon pattern", I would suggest going in for some tests. It certainly would hurt to make sure everything is on the up and up. Your primary DR, either can do it there, or refer you to a place to have this properly done.

Is this going to be a financial burden?

I felt ok tonight at work (although i usually do cuz my blood is pumping) so i have my fingers crossed that i will wake up and feel good tomorrow.

Bench Press 3 sets 6,5,5 reps
Seated Rows 3 sets 6,6,6 reps
Upright Rows 3 sets 7,7,7 reps
Zottman Curls 3 sets 8 reps
Palm Up Wrist Curls 2 sets 17 reps
Chinnies 2 sets 32 reps

Felt ok today so i decided to workout and see how it went and so far so good. :)

Same at my job too!!!!

Make sure your getting enough vitamins.
Its not only the people i work with that i have to worry about. Its everyone that comes into contact with them. They're often handled by many people before they get to me.

Im taking the weider packs atm. It comes with 3 mineral tablets, 2 vit c, vit a, b complex and one vit e. On top of that im taking echinacea, eating blueberries and strawberries, oranges, apples, spinach, raisins nuts and seeds, etc. Ive even been buying low sodium V8 to add as an extra serving of veggies per day.

I may have to tone down my training sessions to 3 per week and see how that works out. I think i have to start counting work as a workout. The problem is that i love to train and want to do a lot of it..lol.
 
Im definately not sick. :) A bit sore and worn out from the week, but a couple days of rest should help.

I got my bike out yesterday and im pumped to ride, buts still a bit too cold. I also bought a jump rope today. Im going to add a bit of jump rope to my conditioning once i get decent at it.
 
Me and my neices just spent 20 minutes screwing around with the rope and im getting decent already. I should get good fairly quickly cuz i used to do a lot of shadow boxing and stuff back in the day and it seems fairly similar. Plus im a bit obsessive when it comes to learning new things.

Its a good way to get my neices off their asses and my mom was even doing it. Anything that encourages the family to get the blood pumping is a good thing. :)
 
An attorney I do a lot of business with does CrossFit at a local gym and they do "double unders" with the rope. 2 rope turns with a single jump! Crap. I am way uncoordinated. Just the thought of getting the rope turned twice whilst staying in the air seems "MATRIX" like and thus gives me high performance anxiety.

Is this what we shall be seeing from you? My gymnast daugher can do amazing things with the rope. I envy you people. I am a "fit through sheer hurling of myself through life" type of person. :) I will live vicararously through you people with finesse and skill.

LOL i just want to jump rope like a boxer for now as an easy way to get a little more easy cardio in. Ill work on the fancy stuff later.

Felt real tired and stiff this morning when i woke up, but i toughed it out and felt good during and after the workout. Work is kicking my ass lately, but im steadily getting stronger. :)

Ive been feeling some slight discomfort in my left elbow so i may have to ease back on the chins for a while if it gets worse.
