Congratulations on the smaller pants! Yay! I'm so ready for some smaller pants. Anyway, you can be a bad influence on me all you want! :D

Hey! Where are ya today? I'm lonely! You better be either exercising or relaxing! Lol! ;)

I may indeed regret asking this but I cannot contain my curiosity. What is meant by the phrase "no camel toes"? is this some strange slang for something to do with trousers that are too tight?

In Scotland in recent years we have been grabbed by a fashion of wearing "hipster" jeans/trousers. These are trousers that come up to the hip and are meant to be worn with a short T shirt so it shows off your stomach. Unfortunately only about 15% of the female population can wear them and look good. Me myself I am two stone over weight and do not want to emphasise the fact by wearing jeans which leave my stomach hanging over the belt yet a lot of people my weight think this looks great for some reason.

Scuse me, rant over!

Beagle, You are goin' to get to the "no pinch" zone soon :D If I didn't keep "skinny" clothes, I would have no way of motivating me to try harder

Nutty Buddy, Sorry  we've been going to car races this weekend so we've been sleeping in late, leaving early and staying out late. We got in at 1am this morning (a 3 hour rided one way to the races last night) and I got up a few minutes ago... Last night was dirt track racing so we were coated in grit and grime when we got home!! LOL It was dirty but it was great :D We dont' get to see those very often since they are so far away and we usually have to work on mondays....

Crunchie, thanks for stoppin' in :D Ummmm... "camel toes" are a rather interesting thing to explain... You see, its when your pants are WAY too tight in the front and the crotch seam creates.. well, camel toes. You've got a "Cleft" showing others weren't meant to see ;) LOL I am NOT a fan of the hip hugging jeans either. If you can wear them properly, that's one thing, but a majority look HORRENDOUS in them!! LOL

rosered... um.... I can't really think of another way to explain it!! LOL You can blame my kid sister that phrase!!! LOL Its what popped into my head - and in her voice too!!!! LOL I'm an innocent!!! :p :D LOL

Well, my scale is on the fritz. I can't tell what my true weight is. I know I didn't lose but with TOM approaching I know I usually gain a little, but even with that I can't gain 10 POUNDS in a week!!!... I am leaving my ticker where it sits for now.... Changing the batterys didn't fix it... hopefully I can get one before next week or this one will fix itself. GRRR that means I didn't lose anything for this last challenge and have been a month at this same weight! THAT JUST MEANS I'LL TRY EVEN HARDER!!!!!!!!!!! :D

 That's when the scale should've been flying out the window! There is NO way you gained 10 pounds! You haven't been threatening that scale enough lately and it's getting lazy and mean! :p

You sure didn't get much sleep did ya? At least you had a good time last night. You know, somehow I knew that's what you meant by camel toes. I just didn't want to say anything in case I was wrong.

Hey Cassie, I hate the suspense of not having a working scale. No way did you gain 10 lb. so get a new scale ASAP! Watch out for sleep deprivation, there's a new study that says even a few days can start to alter your metabolism. Take care of yourself & have a great week!

um... yeah. your scale HAS to be on a fritz unless you suddenly decided to drink fat (does everyone remember the FRIEND's episode with Ross being asked to drink the glass of fat? ;))

though I have known to suddenly be an extra 5-8 pounds due to general bloating, alot of salt, or just what I wore was heavier than what I wore last time (ie: big baggy pants vs just a cami & shorts). Give yourself a day or two and weigh yourself again. If it's still weird, I suggest trying a different scale and buying a new one.

Sorry to steal your thread for a second Cassie, but I just wanted to say that I TOTALLY agree with Crunchie - those hipster jeans are just nasty looking on most of the girls that try and wear them (especially if they're trying to pull off the thong poking out over the top too). I just wish that someone would teach girls to dress for their figure, not for the figure of someone 30lbs thinner. I don't want to sound like I'm bragging but I feel that I have a rather nice collection of clothes that cleverly hide the bad pinchable parts around the middle, and draw attention to the good pinchable parts around the top :p Or at least that's what Josh tells me!

Mornin' all :D

Nutty Buddy, I know we've had a lot of salt at the races we went to but I have NEVER gained 10 # in a week  Somehow, I think that danged box is punishing me for all the little things in the past that it didn't punish me for then  I havent' had much sleep all weekend  I REALLY didn't wanna get up this morning when the alarm went off but I DID want a little quieet time before the rest of 'em crawled outta bed so I did.

Crunchie, glad I could help! LOL :D

MP, I usually get about 6 hours a night but these last few days its been more like 4 or 5  For some reason I can't sleep past 6!!! Its a major bummer! LOL

C, that fat thing is an absolutely revolting mental pic!!! LOL I know SOME may be water, but I still dont' think I retained THAT much even with the salt we ate this weekend! LOL :D

Beagle, I agree! And whats with the undies stickin' outta the pants thing?!?!?! It isn't "sexy" it just makes you look like you need a bigger pair of pants! blech! I have "camoflage" in my closet too :D A must have! LOL

well, this week is goin' to be INSANE so don't fret if I'm not on a lot this week. I have extra dinners to make all week, a photography thing after work thurs, finishing touches for Sis' baby shower, the shower, and I still have to help w/ homework and find time to go to the mall to get the last thing for Sis.... I hope the weekend comes quickly!!! LOL

Gotta run! Heres hopin' for a food friendly week! :D I will try to make it to diaries tonight :D

I'm sending you the "I Will Survive" song vibe. If I could figure out how to send you the MP3 I would, but you're going to have to imagine it instead. That's your theme song this week Cassie, go get 'em!

Lol well done on the explanation that was terrific. Wow looks like you have a busy week this week hun, don’t forget about you.

you never know... it's everywhere around you. when you LEAST expect it...

THERE it IS!

and by then, it's too late! it's in your body. in your blood stream!
be scared. be very very scared.

:D

(yes, I'm a big goofball. :p )

Hi all!

MP, I did survive yesterdays insanity :D I didn't know how I did it until I came and saw you sent me vibes!!! LOL I was exhausted but in one piece - thats always the goal! LOL

MissJ, I like my jeans snug normally but the trouble lately is I find a good fitting snug pair.... then they stretch out and sag!!!!!! LOL If I got 'em any tighter I wouldn't be able to eat, move, laugh, or breathe  HEY!! I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO EAT!!! Nah. I need to move and laugh :D

Rosered, my time for me this week will be squeezed in between getting out of work and driving to the school to get the kids and then again between getting dishes, doing dinners, and going to bed myself  But thats okay! 'Cause Sunday this chick is doing NOTHING!!!! :D

Beagle, the song is running on repeat in my brain!! LOL HELP!!!! LOL

C, I am vay-wee, vay-wee afwayd!!!! LOL ( I really am!!! LOL) :D Bein' a goofball is what makes life fun and interesting - hypo Hippo and I are just plain peanuts so we know all about it! LOL :D

Well, another day set to begin... not as bad as yesterday, but still pretty full up  I just prepped dinner and popped it in the crockpot now to hit a fewe diaries and find breakfast :D If I don't git to ya this mornin' I WILL tonight :D

Too funny... didn't mean to get "I Will Survive" stuck in your head, but there are worse things to have on repeat than Gloria Gaynor. Don't dare me to name some, you'll be throwing (virtual:D ) rocks at me if I do! OK, today's motivational song is... Jumpin' by Destiny's Child. It's a good little groovin' ditty that makes me feel like dancing (and being sassy), and dancing is moving, and moving is good! A little sassiness never hurts either.
